The Canes organization liked to rib the Sabres during the slug days, and that was all fine and good because who doesn't agree that the slug was one of the all time worst sports logos? At the time I used to remind my Canes fan friends about people living in glass houses, pot kettle black etc.. To a man they always insisted that their logo was among the best in the NHL. Well THN doesn't agree my Caniac friends.... Woooo Woo woo!! The original Anaheim Mighty Ducks logo was just embarrassing. The Quebec Nordiques logo was odd. So it's fair to say any logo related to it is stupid. I'll mockup my favorites and least favorites: TOP: 1. Chicago Blackhawks 2. St. Louis Blues 3. Detroit Red Wings 4. Buffalo Sabres 5. Minnesota Wild (many hate it, but I love it) 6. Tampa Bay Lightning 7. New Jersey Devils 8. San Jose Sharks 9. Pittsburgh Penguins 10. Arizona Coyotes Worst: 30. Washington Capitals (they don't even have a logo, really) 29. Carolina Hurricanes 28. Dallas Stars (such nice jerseys, but bevels are lame) 27. New York Islanders (just boring) 26. Colorado Avalanche 25. Philadelphia Flyers (I know it's supposed to be a P, but I never think of it as that) 24. Nashville Predators (sabretooth is our thing) 23. Florida Panthers (meh, boring and basic) 22. Calgary Flames (if your "c" is flaming you should get it checked out) 21. Probably the most iconic (unless you think the Washington Monument, which wouldn't look good on a uniform, is more iconic). Sometimes I really miss living there.
