After Ekblad it's basically a Grand Canyon-esque drop to the next defender. So if for whatever reason a team really wants a defensive prospect, it really is Ekblad or bust. EDM biggest need is probably a DMan. If Florida pulls the trigger on Ekblad, what about the Sabres offering a package which includes one of their top four D-Man(10, 57, 55, 61)for a package that includes the third overall pick? There was a report that Murray would consider moving Myers for another top five pick, but I wouldn't trade Myers, Risto or Zadorov for even the first pick this year.
