Judging by these few posts - or lack of - I would think 90% of you will not watch the game. That's fine. There really are not too many 'blue & gold bleeders' around here. When Buffalo wins, that bandwagon is overflowing ... a loss means, bring up all of Rochester and it's time to dump Vanek, Stafford (ok, I do agree here), Miller ...

When TPegs bought the team, the excitement was like none before. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the window of opportunity to bring in a Cup to Buffalo was in a few years. Yes, after a 2-0 start - when I gave my buddy $50 to put on Buffalo (in Vegas) to win it all and the odds were 5-1 - I couldn't talk up the POTENTIAL of Buffalo enough. The most frustrating part of this team - for me - is that they RARELY play a full game.

If the talk of this team is still the same in late January, then the bitching should be forefront.

Some changes should be made ... I'd be happy to get rid of Sekera and/or MAG, Stafford too.

No excuses for this team but coming out so strong at the start - with the healthy lineup - obviously made a difference.

One thing I'd like for Christmas is 2 weeks of that healthy lineup, to see who needs to go and what we'd need to get in return.

The Sabres are the team that I'll watch even if they are even worse than the Bad News Bears, so when the time comes, people will know that I've been a loyal fan all the way through.

I watch every game I can no matter how uninteresting or difficult that may feel at times and for me bitching about the ineptness of the team, the coaches or management is not jumping off the bandwagon. Its simply wanting whats best for this team and voicing an opinion on what I feel may or may not be a way to go about bringing those improvements, Jumping off the bandwagon is for quitters and usually involves jumping onto the bandwagon of another team which I have never done. Nor will I ever do. I truly bleed the blue and gold and have for 35 years or so. It may drive me nuts eventually but I love these Sabres. GO SABRES!

Did you think maybe, just maybe that post wasn't aimed towards you? If you know you're not a bandwagon fan then why even respond? Let's be honest there are a few members that flood the forums when the sabres are hot or when it's time crucify a member of the organization. You'll see GDTs that are 5-7 pages deep before the puck even drops. It's a little maddening. Just saying.

I didn't say it was directed at me nor am I vain enough to think it was unless he addressed me,which he didn't. I was voicing my opinion on his remarks. Just sayin.

Honestly, if I am the owner of a team, I thank God for fans that are passionate enough to voice opinions, good or bad. It's apathy that would concern me.

No $hit Sherlock. I can only comment on my own situation and how being a fan of the sabres affects me. Therefore I say I and me quite often. Why does it bother you? I'll tell you what. Next time I post by giving my opinion on something ( which I believe I'm allowed to do? ) I'll ask your permission first. You're welcome to proofread and spellcheck for me. Just sayin.

When the Sabres play teams like Detroit and Philly, I am starting to feel like when the Bills play teams like Green Bay and New Orleans - no chance. Hopefully they can at least get a point out of tonight. The problem I see with this team is that when they do get their injured players back, it is not going to make much of a difference.

I am putting all my eggs into the Miller basket for the rest of the season, closing my eyes and hoping for the best....

I agree, in fact aside from HECHT some of the only bright spots lately have been the call ups. LINDY playing the injury card, I thought was a pathetic excuse.

I was hoping that ENNIS would bring a little spark, but I really think that ENNIS is playing tight and being passive, with the fear that with one turnover he'll find himself demoted or sat on the bench by LINDY, being that's he's been LINDY's whipping boy.

Not surprising on Enroth as teams figure out his tendencies, the team plays mistake filled D in front of him and he learns the grind of the NHL. Sooner or later it was going to catch up with him. This goes away when the Sabres actually find some toughness. Until Linde lets go of his enomored view that the Defense should move the puck up all the time instead of Centers and forwards who end up standing around watching their D, this system is still going to be a problem.

I know, I know, Linde is actually trying to get them all to play full ice and that makes sense if enough of his offensive players would do so with some grit. Leino doesn't, Roy is too much of a pretty boy and they just don't have enough depth on offensive.
