These are the players/combos I'm most interested in. Adam sounds like he has a lot of potential. I haven't seen him or Kassian play yet.

 

EDIT As for TV -- NHL network is showing it on tape delay at 11 PM tomorrow.

 

I'm all out rooting for Kassian to make the team.. Know it is a prohibitive long shot... but.....

 

Me too. At this point, I'm hoping to see Kassian play well enough to get a few regular-season games before they send him back to juniors. He would have to really blow DR and LR away to stay here beyond that, as it would require them to dump or waive a player that they are more or less committed to for this year. Still, if he were to play well enough to force them to make that decision, and the Sabres' 3rd line to start the season was Niedermayer-Ennis-Kassian, and Kassian beat Chris Neil to a bloody pulp in the opener -- wow. I'd be in favor of retiring his number immediately.
