Of course, this article is from the New York Post, so who knows how accurate it is. He is probably waiting for them to clear space, but $6 million may be wishful thinking. Even with Sundin, I don't think Vancouver has a chance of surpassing San Jose or Detroit. Sundin has been extremely durable(70+ games a season for his entire career except for 94-95) and has been a point per game player, but you have to wonder at 37(will turn 38 in February) how much he has left in the tank.
