I'm sure he'll reply, but if I were to guess, even-numbered undergrad physics courses are the spring semester (see also: the calendar; it's May). At the 100 level, that's usually waves, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, circuits, light, and sometimes random other introductory bits like fluids, nuclear, quantum, aerodynamics, or other fun stuff. I'd also guess a bit more and say he learned the blacks and inclined planes (kinematics) in Physics 103, which would be the preceding (and prerequisite) course.

Yeah, they play enough of a slow-down, grind-out style that Halak and four half-ok defensemen will squeak out an 8-11, simply because they won't be as wretched defensively as some of the worst teams in the league. Islanders were middle-of-the-road in goals for. They were third-worst in goals against, giving them the fourth worst goal differential. A bump up in D and G could boost them over teams like Ottawa and Calgary, if those teams don't get their ###### together. I think we'll still be fighting Florida and Edmonton for last, if neither of them hire Trotz.
