This thread's gonna be so bonerific. There's not much historical precedence for how bonerific this will be. The Blue Jackets just had three first round picks at 14th, 19th, and 27th overall, which netted them Alexander Wennberg ©, Kirby Reichel (LW), and Marko Dano (RW), respectively. That's a full line of first rounders, probably some mixture of their top line three years from now. But we're talking about a set of three draft picks that in good probability will end up looking like #2-5, #3-9, and #15-22. And that will add to our #12 Grigorenko, #14 Girgensens, #8 Ritstolainen, #16 Zadorov, and our #2 ______ , not to mention our bounty of 2nd rounders.

Meanwhile, jackals are ripping at a bag of garbage.

TL;DR: Even when Bucky's right, he's dumb. http://www.buffalone...miller-20140520 Might as well have written: -
Yep. And the team that picks seventh is all like "There's a group of six guys up there, but then there's these two guys over here. They're who we want."

Both of those moves would be good for Vancouver.

Dodge unveiled the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat: http://www.autoblog.com/2014/05/20/2015-dodge-challenger-srt-hellcat-official/ This is relevant to my interests.

Fascinating. Also, congratulations on making that decision. What motivated you? What, as an officer in the British Army, do you want to do or work on? I personally do not have military experience, but I did consider it briefly, and many of my friends and family are veterans.

I've been. It's fun, especially for hardcore hockey nerds. Tickets are free. Go the first night for the first round (of course), and then for a more relaxed atmosphere, check out the second day for a while. Wear your Sabres stuff so you can find other Sabres fans to chat with if you'd like. Reading that link makes it sound like tickets will be in demand. That definitely wasn't the case in Los Angeles (2010).

Watched it a few times. When he starts to shoot, he does so with the intention of stopping in front of Price (to not overskate the net and to try to get any rebound; this is evidenced by his right foot trying to execute a weak one-footed hockey stop). But when he shoots he puts himself off balance, making it impossible to stop. He executes this really pretty close to Price, almost guaranteeing contact or an immense snow shower even if he does what he wants to do. But he loses it and takes him out. He probably could've skated through that play to the boards or stopped to the side of Price with pretty much no risk to anyone. Seem like he was playing literally on the (skate) edge and fell over. A little bit reckless, but not criminal.

Yeah. Me too.

Theoretically, the Blues could trade Miller's rights after the draft (or in an unlikely scenario, sign him and trade him), owing Buffalo a 2nd round pick. The Blues could then collect that 2nd rounder from the team they trade Miller's rights to, and it would get them out of trade pick debt. The question is, would any team trade a 2nd round pick for Miller's rights? Unless it's Garth Snow, probably not. And then still probably not.

I would like to hear what Craig Patrick has to say first.

Because if you hate on other players or teams or enjoy watching other players or teams get beat, you're a rock-throwing terrorist that will destroy the integrity of our internet in a most unflattering manner. Enjoy the schadenfreude thread.

I read it was the right knee. I believe impacts hyperextend muscles and ligaments much easier than simply overexerting.

Hadn't considered that idea before. I wonder if "Original Six" is being transformed into a euphemism for "large television market that the media can latch onto as deserving" at the expense of both non-traditional large television markets and all small markets.

I enjoyed it. Glad to know Perrault still stands out in some people's minds in a historically-good context, especially at the national broadcast level.
