  1. I liked Carrier, surprised to see him unprotected over Larsson/Foligno. Was right about Ennis tho :)
  2. It can be done if you load the desktop version of the site.
  3. Very Darcyish trade.
  4. Thanks, yeah I'm pretty stoked, as are my kids. Just need to remember to load up on fireworks on the way home. IMO, by today's standards, Larsson is slow. He has decent quickness in small areas, but he won't be the guy leading the rush up ice or winning puck races.... same with Foligno. I just don't think they're good fits. Baptiste would be better, or Bailey, Fasching.
  5. He's not wrong.
  6. I have a source deep inside the Vegas organization who will remain unnamed. Seriously tho, just a hunch based on the way Housley talked about him, and he seems like the type of player who fits his style of play vs slower plodding types like Foligno and Larsson.
  7. He did smoke inside as well. It seemed like whenever he was waiting for his car he had a cigarette in his mouth.
  8. I'd bet anything that Ennis is protected. Replace Larsson or Foligno with Ennis.
  9. Great Lakes division... BUF TOR DET CHI MTL OTT etc
  10. I used to park Mogilnys' car at Oliver's. I would often spot him outside smoking.
  11. MTL was going to lose him to Vegas for nothing. They'll protect Weber, Petry, and Emelin. and now they can protect 7 forwards
  12. lol'd at "defensive corpse" Still a lot of question marks and unknowns.. how good is Antipin? Where does Guhle end up? What happens with Bogo and Gorges?
  13. Can J-BOT pull off the impossible and move both Moulson and Bogo off the books? Doubt it, but it would be an absolutely dream scenario. Just getting one of them off the books would be huge. Don't know enough about BowlU to comment, but he's a career +19 so I'll tentatively pencil him into the top pairing.
  14. Milbury, Roenick, and Pang as goalie coach.
  15. I wouldn't read too much into Housley's comments about Moulson. He's likely a goner.
  16. Unfortunately Olofsson is too small, at only 5'10 and 165lbs, he's not the type of forward GMTM is... wait. Nevermind.
  17. Miller put up some excellent numbers his final two seasons at MSU, some of the best college hockey has ever seen: GAA: 1.23 / 1.77 SV%: 0.950 / 0.936 Let's compare that Petersen: GAA: 2.20 / 2.21 SV%: 0.927 / 0.926 You want to compare someone to Miller? Try Connor Hellebuyck. His final two years at UMass-Lowell: GAA: 1.37 / 1.79 SV%: 0.952 / 0.941 Petersen just isn't at that same level IMO.... a comparable would be Matt Hackett who put up almost identical numbers in his final year in juniors.
  18. No. Ullmark is a much better goalie. Petersen is not NHL ready, nor do I think he ever will be.
  19. Can we get rid of Rip now?
  20. Huh? I didn't mention anything about Bylsma, just making a point that picking D at 8th out of need would be a mistake in the long run.
  21. Doesn't matter, it's all cyclical. Strike while the iron is hot, I say. Look at PIT. Their all-world defenseman missed the entire post-season, and still, they reached the top of the mountain with cast-offs like Shultz, Daley, Cole, Streit, Hainsey, Ruhwedel, etc... In BUF's case, they just need 1 or 2 quality bottom pairing guys to replace Gorges and Franson... they don't need top 10 picks.
  22. Just because they didn't mention Reinhart by name, doesn't mean they're actively shopping him. You're reading too much into it.. .Reinhart isn't going anywhere... unless they decided he's overrated and move him for defensive help
