me too. Johnson has some very good moments, but he's streaky... when he's bad he's an absolute sieve. Maybe just put him in for shootouts.... it's just a matter of time before some goalies become strictly shootout specialists.... That's all they practice.. .kind of like a closer in baseball.

Quick's style of play takes a toll on him physically. He'll have a short career, one filled with injuries in the later half. I'll say it again, Petersen is a career minor leaguer, he doesn't have the size/skill to compete at the NHL level. Jack Campbell will be Quick's backup. And don't they have to wait until mid-August to sign him? How can they announce this while he's still Sabre's property? Isn't that considered tampering?

He had 60 games in the Q, and 60 in the AHL after being drafted. There was plenty of opportunity for him to develop. His problem is slow feet, he's simply not compatible with the modern NHL.
