I'm curious if I could manufacture a cold brew using a french press. I'll give it a try and report back.

The NHL needs a statcast system like MLB so we get real time data on shot speed, skating speed, etc.. We have the technology! That one timer by Thompson looked exceptionally fast. With his height and stick length he should be able to generate more leverage on his shots than a guy 4 -5 inches shorter.

Can you cold brew it and then drink it hot? Or does that change the taste and/or acidity? How long can you keep it in the fridge before it goes bad?

Jury is still out. If we can't criticize him for 8 months of bad hockey then we can't absolve him after 9 wins. That said I don't expect them to lose a single game until Dahlin retires, so we'll need to let it play out

If he was gonna take $10m he'd have signed by now. He's going to hold out like Nylander, prolly go play in Europe or KHL because money. Tank justified. Just think, if BUF wins that OT game vs ARI, then Strome ends up in BUF and Eichel is in the desert.

Pilut now a +22 in just 17 games....myyyyy goodness. His team relative +/- is around a +18... astounding. They've played 17 games, his presence alone is good for just about one goal per game.

But.... to take that next step, they need 4th line guys who can play as well defensively as them and also contriube on the scoresheet. They just don't produce enough offense IMO.

With games against TBL, SJS, NSH, and TOR coming up, they need to get points against teams like DET.

Risto is a +4 in his last 3 games... now a -8 on the season. Hope that trend continues.

The best part about this streak is that my 12 and 14 year old boys are finally all-in on the Sabres. It's more fun to watch when they're as emotionally invested as myself.. haha, poor kids what have I done!

I can see then challenging for a wild card spot, but they still lack scoring depth and if Skinner or Eichel or Dahlin miss any time they're in big trouble.

Actually played some high school games there too 1988-90, Super Sunday! But I'll never forget the first time I played there, I was 7 or 8 years old I think, 1980'ish. Played in one of those between period games that lasted just a few minutes, with the entire team on the ice at the same time. Still remember it like yesterday, was probably the most thrilling moment of my playing career haha.
