  1. Being more physical is a must. Watching the playoffs with a friend, he remarked the next time half our roster blocks a shot will be their first time ever. It's youth needing to step forward. Watching teams block 20 or so shots in a game is something this team neeeds to learn in order to get to and win in the post season. Not complaining at all. Just an observation of taking more steps to improve. A couple more tougher guys on the blue line is a priority to me. Sets an example.
  2. I'n retired and have several friends who are also retired. They bring up the WNY/Buffalo weather "it sucks ! " every single time I go out with them and won't let it go. Drone on about it excessively. All have the means to relocate (which I suggest) and they dismiss it immediately. I love our weather from May to October and spend a ton of time out on my deck. I can get through the winters just fine. Even with taxes, I find it very easy to live here financially. Tons for me to do. Traveling throughout the country in my younger days, I wasn't a fan of most other places I visited and was fortunate enough to find solid employment later in my hometown. We are all different and all respect to everyone. I'm trying to figure out if it's just making conversation or are they actually that miserable. They never used to be like that. It's draining. After a couple hours, I have to get up and leave them. Ugh..
  3. Still think it's the playbook. Diggs had other minor so-called blowups which were nothing in the past. Yet signed the extension last year when he could have triggered a move. The difference was Daboll left to coach the Giants and Dorsey broke his cherry as an OC. The 2nd half of last season, his production went way down. Message received.
  4. We are all aware of the stats. I posted " There were games last year where Diggs didn't even get a look until the 2nd half. That was pointed out more than a few times. " . He can catch even more at key moments.
  5. We are all throwing crap at the wall, guessing what is going on. No issues. My toss of crap is the O and the playcalling. Diggs probably has zero issues with McDermott. It's the rookie OC Dorsey, now entering year 2. There were games last year where Diggs didn't even get a look until the 2nd half. That was pointed out more than a few times. Now we draft a flex TE to take over the slot and sign a couple of Vet RB's to help Allen not take too many hits. Diggs may view his looks as being shorted in the plan...and if so, I tend to agree with him. He's open A LOT. A HOF talent with those hands isn't a decoy. He's primary. Especially with the concerns at WR #2 and Davis having inconsistent hands last year. Feed him until his hands bleed. Guys like him are rare.
  6. Was here yesterday for his medical.
  7. Oh joy...Now to avoid the Bills message boards. Outrage will be the theme.
  8. I could see it was losing steam. Major league sports teams and large college programs suddenly had no regular coverage with writers leaving. I cut bait a few months back.
  9. Out of nowhere, Adin Hill is about to make some serious $ this summer.
  10. That 72 foot putt to win it was an amazing sports moment for those fans. You never see a golf crowd explode with joy like that. The Canadians can strike that little round ball these days. Taylor became the 4th Canuck to win on the PGA tour this year.
  11. I think Ullmark is OK to good with a great regular season team in front of him. The team went flat in the playoffs and he didn't play well at all. Yanked. Sort of exposed. He can enjoy his regular season awards. No one can sell me on how "great" he is.
  12. Been there for 2 sessions each of the last 2 years. Looks to be far shorter this year. Only an hour to view them. Might pass and just get the views from the press that covers them. Place is an absolue icebox, sitting so close. It did give me a positive outlook on Levi. They had these 2 on zero drills . Levi made great saves and instantly reacted to any rebounds. Portillo was painfully slow with delayed reactions, despite being a much bigger body. He didn't impress me at all. Kids have speed but lack NHL bodies. Need to fill out and refine their game. The pipeline is promising.
  13. He was in early on Pride week. :-) RIP. By all accounts, he was the most decent of people.
  14. Draft and roster adjustments (possible trades) first. Then think of future contracts, once camp begins. Zero urgency now.
  15. Will be a few days before the forest fire haze and smell leaves our air in WNY.
  16. I bet the Trailer Park Boys are behind this..
  17. Strip clubs. Probably $2 off the BLT at lunch. :-)
  18. Neglecting WR ? I don't know about that narrative. Brought in a lot . Kincaid is a slot WR with a TE designatiion. A rookie but they had nothing in the middle of the field last year. Brought in Sherfield, Harty. Drafted Shakir and Shorter in the last 2 drafts. Davis had the high ankle sprain all year. I get the thinking. None compare to the Hopkins...of old. But legit concerns with him now. Missed half his games with Cardinals with suspensions and injuries. Reportedly asked out of practicing even when healthy. Asked for trade. Won't play for peanuts, after watching OBJ get 15 Mil. Bills are now over the ever changing Cap by 3 Mil, according to Beane. Seems like they are kicking a lot of cans down the road cap wise already. We'll see but I'm not morphing into some imaginary funk if Hopkins isn't a Bill.
  19. Philly trading Hart and replacing his spot with our old pick Cal Peterson ? He started a whole 9 games last year in LA. People think we need to give up a lot for that ? LOL.
  20. Showed promise as a a rookie 5 years back. Then...meh Never really took another step forward. Comrie 2.0 ? Is that really an upgrade ?
  21. So the PGA Tour attacks the players that left last year for the LIV tour. A year later, they are merging. I guess that "Blood Money" they spoke of was too good to pass up . Didn't tell the tour members at all and many are outraged. $ Always wins with these people. Welcome to Earth. https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/37805785/pga-tour-liv-golf-dp-world-tour-announce-merger
  22. Oliver is a 1 Gap DT who needs a space eater NG next to him to take up 2 blockers. That allows him to penetrate up the middle. That is the worst scenerio for any QB, who can step up in a pocket to avoid the outside rush. Phillips and Jones were both hurt last year. Now the Bills have another 1 gap DT in Poona Ford to rotate in. On paper, it does look better... but it's up to the NG position to stay healthy in order for inside pressure to work.
  23. The 30-year-old Floyd has spent the past three seasons with the Los Angeles Rams. He is coming off a nine-sack season in 2022. A 6-foot-5, 240-pounder, Floyd is a former first-round draft pick of the Chicago Bears in 2016. He spent the first four years of his NFL career in Chicago, finishing with 154 tackles and 18.5 sacks in 54 games. His production has shot up over the past three years in Los Angeles. Floyd had 184 tackles and 29 sacks with the Rams in 50 games. Floyd potentially gives the Bills' pass rush a big boost, particularly while his former teammate with the Rams, Von Miller, remains out as he rehabs following knee surgery. Floyd will compete with Greg Rousseau, A.J. Epenesa, Boogie Basham and Shaq Lawson for time on the edge.
  24. And just like that, The Bills sign pass rusher Leonard Floyd who produced for the Rams. That's where you spend the $
