Up and down team, now cursed with key injuries. So I take them one week at a time with zero expectations. They play the Giants next and their QB is hurt and may miss the game. So the goal is now 4-2 . Probably have to go 8-4 the rest of the way to get in the playoffs. Imposing schedule. Odds are against them now. The have too many bouts of implosion.

How concerned is Sabrespace about the defense and goaltending?

If they claim they still see something in UPL, then I'm convinced he has stag photos of the front office and has them comprimised into lying. I see nothing in him. Go with Comrie for now as the backup and waive UPL. He is no loss. Levi did look a bit lost last night but I'll question the entire team in regards to focus and playing not to get hurt. The sky isn't falling and I'll just wait until the real games start. Stating anything now on what to expect is meaningless. -
I hate them in all sports. Good for some youth but cannot guage how others are playing. Did see A LOT of floating and going through the motions, which kills the warm and fuzzy outlook a bit. Watching Benson was probably the only positive.

E.J. Manuel says hi and I gave him the finger.

God bless her for doing that.

What might get him a few snaps is Rousseau is hurt and may not play. Yet I agree. Jonathan is not a bad option to play more Sunday. He brings heat.

I measure how much time I can spend outside I was outside. Thus my above post.

Weather in the Buffalo area has been great since May, IMO. As a retiree, I measure how much time I can spend outside. I was always out doing things, due to clear weather most of the time. When I see what the rest of the country endures, I'm fine. Winters only bother me when we get the big storms..but only for a day or 2. I take winter vacations to warm spots to break up the pattern.

Sabres Opening Night Roster Projections - Sabrespace and media

It's just conjecture. Worrying that UPL might be claimed off the waiver wire is like worrying Taylor Swift isn't getting enough camera time. -
Unless they call Babcock.

There's still an aversion to getting back on D. I guess when some players talk about it, they believe others need to do the heavy lifting. Wrong. Until it changes, the 4th line should get as much minutes as the top 3 with short shifts. Wake them up.

Back on Awesome. September was such a great month in the Buffalo and it still is until the end of this first October week. I was out driving my convertible BMW Z4 today, since it's still in the 80's. Will put it away for the season on Friday.

I worked for an American car company who Obama bailed out years back..GM. I was a salaried employee who took retirement just in time several years back.. The $$ from the bailout had no conditions and it was used to improve production in China and Mexico. They laid off hundereds of thousands of American workers, ruining a lot of towns across the country. My whole division was closed within a year at my plant. The only thing they make here is trucks and limited Corvette production. That's it. The sold out to slave labor 20 years ago. Honda, Nissan, Toyota...they have plants in the U.S. The " Buy American" thinking died a generation ago. Buy quality after doing your research.

Saw the Clash at Rich stadium. I believe it was 1981 with the Who and David Johansen with most of the NY Dolls. Utterly fantastic day.

HS and college for me were the 1970's. Hated pop music and disco. Punk/ska/new wave was my music of choice. The Stranglers were one of the best.

Being that I worked in the Auto industry my whole life, I remember the Vibe. It's engine was made at the National Auto plant in California. One of the greatest engines ever. At the end of the line, they send out those engines to Pontiac to put in the Vibe and Toyota to put in the Corrola. They would run forever and the car bodies would fall apart before the engines would die. No one ever got rid of those cars. Just like the old GM 3.8 V6 in the 1990's. Some engines were made too good and the car industry certainly doesn't like that. Less opportunity to get $$ out of you. They have no soul.

Bills have Neal, Cam Lewis, Ingram in addition to Jackson, Elam and Rapp mentioned above. All have played in the past. Kyron Bown on the PS has seen snaps with the Jets and Cowboys. Neal, Lewis and Ingram have played every secondary position. At the very least, the Bills have secured some actual decent depth in the secondary.

Just got a loaded up new Nissan Altima. Older guy who still likes sedans and has fewer choices. Doesn't sound like much but this car is power/heated everything. AWD. I looked at a Lexus and a couple others but this was so much more impressive inside and out. The display screen is enormous. Seats just hug you and the cost is half of those other cars. Drives like a dream and is so quiet. Never understood pricing/marketing. Scarlet red. Probably the 5th red car I've had in my 45 years of driving. Just coming off a blue car. Very difficult to find color these days. White, grey, silver and black seems to be 95% of the market.

Fascinating guy. Hit 40 homers in college but wasn't going to make it as a 1st basemen . Learned the knuckleball and started in low minors as a pitcher. Played a lot of games for AAA Buffalo between 1992-1994. I saw him play a few times. RIP.
