  1. I guess so. Not even sure why I brought it up as he is gone, and will be soon forgotten.
  2. Did the media ask KA if there were any discussions on Reider or Sheahan?
  3. The part about "i want to stick it to them"? I don't know how that could be a mischaracterization?
  4. Someone posted a tweet with the quotes in them. It is somewhere upthread.
  5. Not saying it would have been a good idea, but if Iafallo(local boy) had hit FA, I'm sure the Sabres would have gone hard after him. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/31243971/los-angeles-kings-forward-alex-iafallo-agree-4-year-16m-extension
  6. Kevyn has all the help he needs from Kim & Terry. All is good...no need to panic.
  7. I know all teams are in the same position, but having this taxi squad sucks. I'd much rather have guys in Rochester than in no mans land...practicing, but playing in few to no games.
  8. I guess the Blackhawks despite being only 4 points out of a playoff spot, are packing it in. First Janmark, now Soderberg.
  9. I think if anyone goes in the off-season, it's Reinhart and Risto. Just can't believe they can go into another season with the same friggin' core. I think Reinhart goes with a pick or prospect for established top 6 wing help. Risto? Who knows what his value is.
  10. I don't know if he will ever be an NHL regular, but I'll admit when I am wrong. After his first couple of rookie and training camps, I didn't think he would ever be offered a contract. He was that bad.
  11. If I was a GM trying to make a playoff run, I'd take Foligno over Hall every day of the week...even if it cost me more.
  12. I would have buried Irwin in Rochester along with KA's other offseason blueline signing(Davidson), claimed both Vatanen AND Mete, and gave them 20 game tryouts. Instead we will get a steady dose of Irwin for the remainder of the season. I'd even consider giving Fitzgerald a shot. Irwin is just a waste of space.
  13. I'm not a fan of Terry and Kim at all, and I can totally believe that this conversation occurred between TP, KA & RK.
  14. 3 years max, 4-5 mil per, absolutely no limited or full NMC/NTC.
  15. Don't shoot the messenger, and consider the source...Peters. I'm not sure why he would joke about that, but who knows.
  16. I'm wondering if there is any market for Sheahan or Rider, or does Adams feel he has to keep a few vets around? I would think for a 6th or 7th round pick teams would want guys like this as a 4th line/13th forward depth for the playoffs.
  17. I heard this earlier on the instigators earlier, but can't find any link to the quotes. Peters claimed Lazar was quoted after the trade..."this team found creative ways to lose" & "I can't wait to stick it to them".
  18. I wonder what lessons have been learned from the Skinner deal...too much term AND too much money AND a full NMC. Im guessing they will get bent over again.
  19. I want no part of Neal. I’d rather take a lesser return instead of him for two years. 👎
  20. I can’t find the post from earlier, but was Ralph really in the top 5 paid HC’s? If so, he really was a con man. What the heck was on his resume that would have caused the Pegula’s to agree to that contract demand?
  21. Every time I look at this thread title I see RIP, but I think RIP RIP...and wonder what happened to Rip Simonick. Sometimes I wonder what is going on inside my head. 😂
  22. Not worse than Kucherov being on LTIR all year, and then allowed to come back for the playoffs when there is no salary cap! That is BS and the league should step in and put a stop to it.
