I just hope they don’t accumulate picks and then just start pissing them away on draft day to move up to take a prospect who has a 50/50 chance at best to make it. I’d rather they pick up to 10 players and hope for a gem.

Don't know much about his style of play, and based on past years, he seems like a 30-35 point player(over an 82 game season) who is on an expiring contract. Give him 20 games, and if he is an improvement over some of the garbage we currently have in the bottom six, re-sign him to a deal for next year.

I would take Savard every day of the week over Montour. In fact, he is the perfect guy I'd like to see signed as a UFA this summer...assuming term of only 2-3 years. Pair each of McCabe, Savard, and Borgen with Bryson, Dahlin & Joker. Not sure where Risto fits into next season in this scenario.

Imagine a bizarro world where the Sabres acquired Pelech and Pulock from the Isles in addition to having Risto and Ruotso? They both may just jump from the press box.

Even when I tune in to watch a little bit of a Sabres game, I find myself to be looking at my phone, flipping channels, on my computer, etc... It’s nothing more than background noise, and I blame Terry and Kim for that.
