  1. I don't like the look of that greenway, krebs, mitts line. Who scores the goals there?!
  2. Thank you for the rational post. Have seen a lot of doom and gloom here which isn't accounting for the larger picture
  3. That was kind of a tongue in cheek comment - seems obvious you have goaltending issues when you give up 10 in what was a must win game
  4. I'm enjoying all of the "goaltending needs to be fixed" comments
  5. I believe "he was awful" is referring to risto
  6. 7-1 is embarassing no matter who is injured. i know, it was close for half the game, but still. no moral victories in a 7-1 loss..
  7. Someone doesn't want to get sent down to Rochester 😄
  8. It makes your posts extra dramatic because I scroll down expecting something more 😄
  9. I'd be surprised if it is not Vinny Hinny back to the NHL. Granato really believes in the guy
  10. Oh it was for sure a penalty, but it's tough to make that call with the Lightning already on the pp in OT
  11. oh my god. why can't it be in buffalo?! we want gummy bear!
  12. who was the guy who kept it going to get it to krebs in the corner? was that mitts?
  13. The other side of the coin, is how can anyone say he is the wrong guy for the job? The team that he acquired was supposed to -easily- be the last place team in the NHL. Look where they are now - competing for a playoff with basically the same players. Players are developing, you've seen the improvements in play for literally every single player on that roster that he acquired. Thompson, Dahlin, Tuch, Skinner, Krebs, and the list goes on. Even Mitts is starting to look like an NHL caliber player. Year over year they are developing, and thats really all you can ask of a coach with a group that is this young/inexperienced. The man deserves the chance to see this through and he is the guy until he proves he ISNT the guy. It would take a colossal failure for him to not be the guy (i.e. defensive woes aren't shored up next year and they miss the playoffs)
  14. I think the big one for me was Krebs. Going back to last year, it always felt like he would make the pass instead of shooting, regardless of situation. It was frustrating to watch. When he struggled this year to start, I wrote him off. Glad to see I was wrong, I like his trajectory and think he's going to be a solid contributor that I can see being able to play up and down the lineup.
