I don't think that I dislike them. My feelings toward this team and the rest of the season are of apathy. I'll get excited again next year, but the remainder of this season is just about building towards next year.

They need a shake up. Ship out at least one of the core forwards so that they realize that this is a business and not fun and games. Send their buddy packing so that maybe they can find the motivation to stop giving up 2 goals in the first period every game. They need to have their feathers ruffled or this group, as constructed, will never be sufficiently motivated to succeed.

I think he's going to be good, but that quote sure doesn't make him sound very coachable...

If they are choosing based on recent play, Rosen/Kulich might not be the choice. Both have gone on a bit of a cold streak relative to how they started.

He will have the rest of the season. Should he have the rest of the season? I'm not sure, but I learn towards yes. They've dealt with a lot more injury issues than they did last year (there were next to no forwards injured last year) and he is getting them to play better defense. So IMO, it's not all bad from DG this year...they just aren't getting that same offensive production from their top guys. Regardless of if that is DG's fault or not, he's at the top of the food chain and thus will be the first to fall at the end of the season when they inevitably don't make the playoffs.

After last night's comedy of errors, one can only hope for a game half as entertaining. For the Sabres sake, I really hope that there was an issue with the rink's ice.. because the other side of that is they have regressed to the point where they no longer know how to skate 😄

Congrats to Comrie, nice to see. Hopefully his health and good play continues. He's been pretty good down there so far Also, 6 goal outing (none from Kulich). Multi point game from the Russians though: Kisakov and Neuchev. According to the writeup, Neuchev has a 5 game point streak, sure would be nice to see him take a step this year.

His stats look good because he has played good. They may not be all star level stats, but give the man his due. He has been a bright spot this year

it's insane how much this kid has come around. not all that long ago he was sent back down to rochester and considered a likely bust. now, we're talking about whether he should be voted to an all star game. good for casey and good for the sabres being patient (there's that word again!) with him.
