  1. Agreed, it's kind of silly. Clearly, they think they are getting some sort of advantage in making this exclusive to themselves. There may also be plans to develop further tools and/or add ons to the original software that they don't want other teams to have access to. Or maybe even integrate capfriendly with other forms of analysis. If thats the case (improving capfriendly with additional features), if capfriendly was public, they would turn around and sell these tools to the other teams.
  2. Their benefit, presumably, is depriving other teams access to this commonly used resource. Other teams had deals w/ capfriendly to use their tools.
  3. For the record, this was a joke
  4. This is a bit of a non sequitur, but sometimes I forget that Samuelsson is on the team
  5. Jeez. Unbelievable. Completely different player. He definitely has it in himself... Just need the right coach to unlock it.
  6. Guy has questionable hands when he's not catching fastballs from Josh Allen. But on the other hand they do desperately need to make the defense fear the long ball and mvs, if nothing else, is fast
  7. Lol. Well we are already paying him and he's good for development!
  8. The consensus seems to be that the plan is to have appert helping with the pp. I question if that would be a good fit. Appert was a goalie, at least Ellis had previous forward experience (even if it wasn't on the pp). I hope lindy is going to be very actively helping with the pp to avoid another Ellis type situation where you have someone who is a good coach not being placed in a position to succeed
  9. Unpopular opinion: Appert seems like a good motivator and I'm glad the sabres retained him. Would've been nice to see some other changes made to the staff though. Maybe Vinny prospal should have come up with appert to help run the powerplay and get a fresher set of eyes
  10. Still plenty of time to come back, but cmon. How can you come out so flat in a series deciding game at home
  11. Comparing the leafs to a bully... 😂 They might be even further from bully status than the sabres
  12. My memory is he played a lot with EJ. Imo, that makes his season even that much more impressive in light of the fact that EJ was so atrocious. He wasn't flashy (aside from that one stretch pass in his debut. To skinner i think?), but he seemed extremely effective for a rookie
  13. JJP exceeded my expectations for this season. I knew he was going to be good eventually, but I didn't realize it would be this soon. They really knocked it out of the park with those first two picks of the 2020 draft. Two players that will likely be 30+ goal scorers (and they aren't just goal scorers, they both bring other traits to the table!).
  14. Yawn. Good night moon
  15. Who is this Lindy Ruff guy? Never heard of the man. KA, get us someone with some name recognition at least. ffs
  16. The comments to me about the new coach are kind of revealing. To me, it seems that they are actually being the opposite of accountable by blaming Donnie indirectly by talking about needing accountability and needing to be pushed harder by the coach. This, in essence, is blaming it on the coach and not actually holding yourself accountable.
  17. Wife is going to this game. If anyone sees a bunch of drunk nurses, tell her I said hi
  18. Krebs is a capable 4th line center. But if you're looking to retool your bottom 6, i would imagine that you have to move on from Krebsy if you get the chance
  19. first impressions are everything. he had a really slow start but has actually been sneaky good since
