You know how you have to shake your mouse so Microsoft Teams and Outlook think you’re actively working and available?
This is the GM’s version of that.
I heard Houser trains with Schenn in the off-season (they’re from the same area). In order to consider waiving is modified no trade, he asked the Sabres to ink his buddy to a deal.
No I didn’t.
If Subban has a long term injury, then maybe this makes sense. But there’s already four NHL contracts ahead of him. So it’s kinda weird.
I guess I’ll have to be patient, but making up the rationale is a lot more fun.
That would be wild because he’s 30 years old! His stats are alright for the defense in front of him (2.95, .903).
I think it’s just as likely that he is REALLY good friends with an impeding free agent.
Subban was much more fun than ol’ pointy finger Allen
Most of the big moves involve players who have term left (McCabe, Timo, Jeannot, etc).
What or who is going to set the rental market (Schenn, Jensen, et al)?
I am ignoring Comrie’s season (the good and the bad) prior to his injury. November and its circumstances were a long time ago.
I’m not saying Comrie has it…but I’m not saying he doesn’t.
All I hear around here is “the team is winning in front of UPL” when he’s played like trash all month. Comrie has won three in a row…are we not going to say the same thing for him?
Perhaps dramatic.
I just think UPL is getting an unprecedented amount of run support. 15 wins and a save percentage of .893. His best AHL season was .900 in 35 games. I don’t think he’s the catalyst. He’s not NHL average.
