Since the trade, Casey is 4G 3A in 11 GP, +3. Not much press on him to share since the trade, but Aves 8-3 in last 11 GP. Seems he’s fitting in nicely.

Between 2 Stalls hosted by Jeff Skinner - LMAO!!

That’s reasonable. You seem witty and well-liked around these parts. I appreciate your willingness to take part in the community even though the Sabres part of this Space has let us all down. My engagement here is less than I would prefer. It is because I also feel dejected in the state of the team. It makes good hockey talk harder and less fun. I lurk more than participate. So I get it. While I am disappointed in the results, the players are people too. And off the ice, many of these guys are quite likable (from what I’ve read and seen…and from stuff like this). It’s why I don’t mind engaging in it. But I absolutely understand people abstaining. -

Maybe. I thought it was funny and it doesn’t sway me into attending one bit. Benny at the end was hilarious. -

Goodness I cannot believe I’m feeling suckered into defending the guy, but here I am. This video is the last time I heard him speak: Yes he has sucked as an owner of the Sabres, but he’s far from an arrogant twit. And he doesn’t need to own the franchises to afford his lifestyle. He was a billionaire long before he owned the Sabres. I’m fine with flaming the guy for the results, the hiring and firing decisions, his level of priority for the Sabres, and many other things. There’s plenty to work with.

Skinner To Be Scratched Tomorrow 😳

The Amerks are 7-2-0-1 in their last ten. In third place in the division with 73 pts, and 3 pts out of second. Toronto in 4th with 71 pts and one game at hand. ROC heating up, but still need to do some work to avoid the 4 v 5 play in round of the playoffs. The sooner Levi gets back to ROC, the better.

The answer is a resounding YES to bringing back Between 2 Stalls

They were good with Levi and his above average goaltending. Systems aside, Cooley & Tokarski have been objectively bad and the run and gun offense hasn’t helped the team. They will be dangerous once Levi comes to ROC for the playoff run.

Rochester guy coming from the NY Giants. Previously worked for Michael Jordan and the Bobcats.

lol I thought about that before I hit submit

The Sabres also get the Caps twice at home in April.

I don’t agree they will trade Power. And I don’t agree they won’t pay Byram. The second the Sabres drafted two defensemen first overall, the shell of the team was always going to look drastically different than the present NHL formula. Go ahead and throw out the league “budget” for the blue line. Buffalo is going to eclipse it. It was always going to be this way. And because #1 overall forwards can come in and play immediately at age 18/19 (Bedard, Lafreniere, Hughes, Matthews, McDavid), these teams get good production while they’re on cheap ELCs. You don’t get that with defensemen. Defensemen aren’t fully formed until age 22/23 or so. The budget for the back-end in Buffalo will command more capital. Building a team with two pinnacle #1 overall D has never been done before that I can recall. Personally, I’ve come to embrace the concept of spending on the blue line. Bo is a key piece and I want him here long term.…conventional budget bedamned. ESPECIALLY with how many forward prospects this franchise has. Hopefully the Sabres can massage production out of ELCs for a while at forward.

In one of the oddities of life, Bills kicker Tyler Bass married former Bills punter Rick Tuten’s daughter Ryan Tuten. I guess special teamers like to keep it all in the family.
