  1. He inspected the dressing room and came to the conclusion that the solution is still in there.
  2. There he is. Could they be sitting any further apart? And Matt Ellis still lurking
  3. Pegula is on the trip? That is interesting. Wonder if he wanted to see Utah or if he actually is focused on what a clusterf&ck the team is and is looking for real answers.
  4. At the end of the day I don’t want Pegula to sell. I want someone to have a Come to Jesus meeting with him to find the right people to run this franchise and turn it around. If someone wanted to buy the Sabres and keep them in Buffalo I’d be all for it but I don’t know if that is a real possibility. Between the damage done by years of losing, the smaller market size and the political strife caused by Trump between U.S. and Canada causing many Southern Ontario fans not to cross for games, I can’t see it as an attractive buy at the moment.
  5. Well Adams did just pull off a major trade with both players that came back not playing for the team because of injury. Who is anyone to question his brilliance.
  6. OMG people! All season you’ve complained that this team can’t score with an empty net. Then when they do score with an empty net you still complain.😛😁
  7. He’s the guy that I think can blow up the draft. If he can play the rest of the season and have a strong playoffs and then show well at the draft combine I think teams will think long and hard about a 6’5 190 pound RHC with a ton of skills who will use his body. If he was healthy all season Inthink he is in the mix with Misa and Hagens for top 2-4 pick. https://rg.org/news/hockey/how-roger-mcqueen-could-be-a-steal-at-the-2025-nhl-draft
  8. When you are getting the same team results every year it’s time to change it up.
  9. “Rossi joins Kirill Kaprizov, Joel Eriksson Ek, Jonas Brodin, Marcus Foligno, and Marcus Johansson on the Wild's injury report.” That’s a worst case scenario with the Wild’s injury list right now.
  10. He’s holding his own in the AHL at 18. He’s not dominating so I would guess another year in Rochester anyway Östlund probably one more year too. But it is nice to have 2 legit centre prospects in the system.
  11. Much like Mitts as well. Watching the Boston game I was reminded of what a slow pace Mitts plays the game at.
  12. And Martone’s game has apparently fallen a lot since February. Might be an injury he is playing through. Scouts are saying he will need A long playoff run with a strong performance to establish himself again.
  13. https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/sportsnets-2025-nhl-draft-rankings-march-edition/ Seeing a trend in multiple rankings with Hagens and Martone falling and Desnoyers and Frondell rising.
  14. The National negative media about the Sabres keeps piling up. Adams promised playoffs or bust this season and here we are at the bottom again. I just can’t see Terry bringing Adams back after this complete debacle. Someone has to be the fall guy and it won’t be Terry.
  15. I’ve decided I’m going to watch this game as Game One of a first round Playoff series.😁. It’s the closest Inwill come to watching a Sabres playoff game for a while. Krebs with a good start setting the tone for the series PP clicking will be crucial this series.😛
  16. -GM -Coaching staff players are secondary to me until that mess is cleaned up
  17. How? They don’t even do real searches to interview outside candidates for positions.
  18. For me it’s not about Ruff being a good POHO, it’s about the reality of the situation. Pegula is owner and he wants someone he trusts to communicate with. To “feel heard”. Right now the two people communicating with him are Adams and Ruff. I want Adams gone so Ruff is the lesser of two evils. Push Ruff upstairs, hire a successful seasoned GM that can work with Ruff. Ruff’s job is to talk to Terry
  19. Just a ton of National negative media about the Sabres lately. Good
  20. Terry is not firing Lindy. Many reports that the two are friends. This is a way to get rid of Adams. Im not advocating making him GM. I’m saying let him move upstairs, hire a seasoned GM, let him build the team and let Lindy be the voice in the office that communicates with Terry. Lindy had NJ 3rd OA is the league the one year. The goaltending killed them his final year there. He has not had a good year here it he wasn’t given a chance to build a staff. I would rather him upstairs at this point and give a younger but seasoned coach a shot.
  21. Fire Adams, put Ruff in the front office. Hire a seasoned GM to work with Ruff. Ruff communicates with Terry.
  22. This is an absolutely terrible mock draft. Thanks for sharing it.
  23. That was fun. Great to see the kids in the crowd enjoying themselves and getting a great memory. I thought Jack was little too smug there with what he thought was the game winner. Glad the Sabres took it away from him. I always enjoy Kozak’s effort when he comes up. Hopefully Kulich is OK. Good on Krebs to jump in.
  24. Yeah that’s a great point that really has to have the organization worried. Lets just hope if ST sales tank that they just don’t blame that instead of the putrid product on the ice
  25. Östlund keeps on rolling which is great. He has bulked up and has really taken off as the 1C in Rochester. He has the exact skill set they are in desperate need of. Unfortunately he’s not ready to step in next year and be that player in the NHL yet. Rosen has really made Rochester go. He is their go to forward. He is NHL ready next year but what do they do? Trade another body to make room or trade Rosen to bring in another piece. Brannstrom is an AHL superstar. I think at worst next year he is Buffalo’s 7th dman but can probably play in the lineup Levi has gone through a bit of a rough patch but that’s part of development. He bounced back last night to shut the door down the stretch. Novikov and Komarov played together finally as the Russian twin towers. Wahlberg continues to chug along. He has a unique size-skill combo the Sabres desperately need. Helenuis is holding his own as an 18 year old in the AHL. No. Hagel was a unique example of incompetence on Botts part.
