For the love of God please trade Girgs to a contender. The guy was drafted in 2012 and has never seen a playoff game. No one has suffered more in the NHL. Je has been a loyal soldier who hasn’t complained. I would love to see him in a playoff run and it ain’t happening in Buffalo anytime soon. Same for Okposo. Let’s see if anyone steps into a leadership role with him out the door. Would find out a lot about this team.

You realize that Crosby is one of the greatest ever. Celebrini will be a great offensive player he just won’t reach the consistent offensive level of Crosby which few players ever have. The kid will be a good one.

Most people were all over Reinhart when he was here. They didn’t give him away. Levi and Kulich look like it will turn into a very good deal. I really like Reinhart. His brain and instincts are elite.

Pegula wants someone he feels he can trust over someone that excels at their job. That is why nothing will change until Pegula is out of the picture

Pegula is tied at the hip with Adams. He is his guy he can trust. Adams will do whatever Pegula wants and will spin and spin. Pegula doesn’t want to spend money right now so Adams pushes the sticking to the patience and development narrative with a bargain basement coaching staff. If Granato is fired then we get Appert or Matt Ellis. My only hope is a sale at this point. 13 years of hell with no end in sight is to much to take.

I’ll give the Sabres credit for switching it up for us. Last year they could score and the PP was working but goaltending killed us. This year the goaltending has been much better so they decided not to score and just tank the PP. Its nice when you are watching your team suck every year that they find new ways to do it to keep it fresh.

3 years ago is when he should have got a goalie. What is the point now? UPL is starting to play like a number 1 and unless they plan on keeping Levi in Rochester all next season then bringing in another goalie is going to be pointless. Bring in a coaching staff that demands structure and accountability first before everything else. Vancouver and Winnipeg have improved greatly by improving behind the bench instead of making a ton of deals. Torts has Philly much improved as well. Right now they can’t score enough to win.

If this season ends the way it looks like it will is there anyway in the world they can justify bringing Adams and Granato back? I would like to see this team with a seasoned Coaching staff but with Granato’s extension beginning I can see them staying staus quo

Right after Tocchet should be Demko returning to health and returning to form. He is a huge reason they are where they are but a part of it is Tocchet’s accountability of the roster to play consistent structured defence in front of him.

It doesn’t matter. None of it does. The organization isn’t serious about winning. There isn’t a winning structure in place. From the front office to the coaching staff to the development staff. Until that is addressed and people are put in positions that have a plan to compete and win then nothing they do matters. Who they trade for, sign or draft just all get thrown into this losing blender and it comes out the same year after year after year after year.

Boy PLD is just a negative asset for any organization he goes to. Good luck to Blake moving on from that guy.
