GdT Sabres in Vanc: Jan 21/25. Like 10 tn; you figure it out

You just know Adams had an 8 year/$64 million contract drew up for Kulich after the gameš -
Does the fact there has been no movement actually signal hope?

https://www.facebook.com/100046862814378/posts/1128286728743410/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v My hope is a sale and a turnaround like this with better ownership -
NJ canāt score. They have Hughes and Hishier and Bratt but donāt get much from anyone else. Meier has been a disappointment for them and Mercerās offensive game hasnāt developed. They need more options up front.

Sadly the effort you put into this is higher than the FO has put into the team this season. Well Doneš -

No itās about Pegula not wanting any pennies spent. They canāt risk a trade that adds any payroll. When they brought Lindy in cheap because NJ is still paying him part of his salary and didnāt let him bring in any of his coaches because that would cost additional money then the writing was on the wall about how this team is being operated. Got to run lean so Terry can maintain his lifestyle -

Might as well lose every game now. Ownership doesnāt care, FO doesnāt care, players have checked out. If they end up last OA even Pegula canāt justify bringing this clown show back. Only hope is he bumbles himself into a quality hire like with the Bills -
Yep and the fact they were able to contain the run game for the most part against Lamar and Henry
-
Can the refs nail the Bills with multiple roughing the passer calls if the Bills canāt get a pass rush going? We shall see Sundayš

LETS GO BUFFALO!!! Deja Vu all over again next week. 4th Timeās A Charm!

I think we will know early. If Henry and Lamar slice and dice them early again on the ground we will know they have no answers or adjustments and it will be a long night again

2025 NHL Trade Deadline: March 7th, at 3pm Eastern

Adams said it was playoffs or bust. My only thought is when the Bills stadium overruns came out Pegula told Adams no spending allowed. -

Nemec is young still and has a lot of developing to do but I remember being very underwhelmed watching him at the Prospects Tournament the year prior not that it really means anything in the big picture.

I donāt think Adams has an individual thought on what to do. Iām convinced he just listens to Pegula and does whatever he is told. He then goes in front of the public and lies through his teeth about there being no financial constraints when every single decision made is to the contrary. Adams was hired with no front office experience because he would listen to Terry on all his ideas. I think Adams is gone, he will be sacrificed but the next hire will tell us if there is any chance of things changing. Only if he hires a seasoned NHL guy will I know he has changed his mentality.
-
When you hire employees who arenāt qualified to do their job and then canāt figure out why itās 14 years without the playoffs. Get a clue Terry.
-
Lindy was brought back because Adams wanted someone to bring accountability and teach them how to be mentally strong and how to win games. It has failed miserably. Adams has failed miserably. But there is no doubt in my mind that Adams has been handcuffed as well. Handcuffed financially. Bringing Lindy back and keeping the rest of this failed staff was setting Lindy up to fail. Adams needs to go but Iām convinced they just slide Karmanos or Forton into the spot so more money isnāt being spent and that person just has to follow Pegulaās plan to the tee.
-
So no management even showed up for this even with Season ticket holders. Iām speechless that they donāt have the balls to face the music. I hope none of those people renew for next year

14 years of no playoffs. No one connected to this organization has had any success here for going on a decade and a half. This means there is not one person in this organization that can be looked at for any type of culture other than a losing culture. All this organization knows is systemic failure. Why do you think they collapse so easily when they are up. No one knows what itās like to win or what it takes to win. And it all falls at Pegulaās feet. He damned this organization with his refusal to hire āseasoned, successful NHL peopleā to run the team. He wanted to spend money early, demanded big contracts for guys like Leino and Erhoff and got burned. Then he bought the Bills, then the pandemic hit and he shifted to running the Sabres on the cheap. Wonāt spend to the cap, wonāt do real searches for qualified GMs or coaches, bring back Lindy and wonāt let him bring any coaches in. These young players are thrown to the wolves and set up to fail. And the cycle will continue until Terry sells the team or brings in some seasoned NHL people and steps back and lets them work with no financial constraints.
