He has gotten a lot of climactic reviews from his players over the years 🙂 -

Belushi, take us to, you know, the thing..... -
Npt sure if this has been asked John, but has there been any "unconfirmed" rumblings of the Pegula's approaching individuals that have shown success in establishing franchise success?

Jack Eichel does not approve of this post about now I suspect.

Nah, they'll keep him for the remainder of the season, after all, there is still more damage to do to the actual Sabres brand, some more to do to some younger players, and of course there is even further damage to to Adams, who apparently, says he's not happy, but not done evaluating yet 😕 -

Per Friedman The Sabres are Open For Business

I'd like quality coming back. Any identified players that a 1 for 1 for Reinhart. Eichel is a different story I'd surmise. 1 for 1 is a tough het for him I'm guessing. -

About dam time. Now, will all join me around the pentagram and grab hands. Thorny, if you would light the candles please. Let us began the ritual to cleanse this aberration of a roster. Don't stop chanting until it's complete. PA, you can light some incense and do your "Pegula be gone from all hockey related decisions incantation", that should knock some of the stuffing off this team. -
Was it over when the Ger...... Meh, the hell with it, its been over.

Lol, I'm 50 with a bulging hernia, I've done 100 squats, 50 sit ups, 50 push ups (ok, ok, there half ups, but still) All the damn weight went to mid section and love handles, this will take a bit. -

Finished up my fat burning, kind of feel good. Went to the kitchen to get a nice glass of water and.....my daughter left the ergo waffles out, on a plate, with the toaster still warm....she's my devil spawn. -

I've put on 38 lbs. over the last 14 month's, a majority of it through covid situation. 236 lbs. now. I've started the regimen to bring it below 200. Covid taught me a surprising lesson, I love food 😄 think I'll use the Sabres games as a 3 hour work out regimen on the weekend matinee games. Squats, jumping jacks, push ups, sit ups while watching the games. They'll lose, but I'll start to feel better 🙂- 565 replies

Yes, I did. After all, the coach is still here and the catastrophic ***** show on the ice game after game continues.
-
Sorry, but I had to chuckle. Giving him these 2 games? The wheels have fallen off the stage c9ach, the horses have run away, and the Apaches are closing in, how many bullets do you have? 2 ma'am...... Adams knows what to do, and he just did it in that ***** show presser.

I don't. "The players believe in this coach".

Fixing the Sabres Long-Term - Can it be done?
Scottysabres replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
You left out a large portion of the scenario. Specifically the players themselves. Do they want to be here? Eichel, Reinhart, Risto, Dahlin, and others. Do they want to go through another upheaval in management/coaching? Given the depths this team has sunk to in desire, compete level and commitment to such, there is sure to be dissenting players that assuredly want out. That's huge. -
I would imagine any President of Hockey Operations hire would have full unchallenged authority to make the moves necessary to right the ship. That would mean all roster decisions, who stays to build around, who goes. And an unfettered time frame. Could you imagine that conversation? Hockey Ops Pres: "Terry, Kim, this is who is staying, this is who is going." Terry, Kim: "But...." Hockey Ops Pres: "NO BUTS!" 😄

I remember, unfortunately. I'm at a loss SDS. But, I like to think there is always brighter days ahead. The optimist in me just doesn't see it, at least not yet anyways. The sun will rise tomorrow, entertaining hockey games will be played tonight, so the hockey fanatic inside of me since my first retained childhood memories will enjoy the sport as always. Just disappointed the hometown team isn't a share of the recent fondness. Time heals all things as they say, and time is most likely needed in the case of the Sabres.

While I was one that supported going for McDavid/Eichel I was not one that wanted Vanek or Pominville moved. Although, admittedly I was supportive 0f Gaustad, Stafford and Miller being moved. So a mixed bag there. In the end, the plan implemented to tear it down to the foundation and rebuild it has failed in a somewhat spectacular fashion. And I concur, it was a combination of removing individuals who had the passion, the desire to sacrifice to win and fostering the overall organizational environment that it is acceptable to lose. Now comes the ultimate question, and it is not what you think. For the question is not how to change that, but what to do with the assets here, now, that are clearly a product of it. In the end, it's what many of us, even those who supported the tear down, have been saying, an "Organizational Culture" issue. Like it or not, the last 10 years have marked the Sabres as one of the worst run NHL franchises in modern NHL history. Sadly, for myself in any event, I see no end in sight.

I was wondering that as well.
