Some Krueger pocket lint on the bench.

Ah yes, they are starting to line up the dominos. Montour should fetch us an experienced speedy veteran forward. What's Nathan Gerbe up to these days? 😄

Dropping like flies

Forgive me if I'm behind the times here, but don't we have Johanson (G) already on the taxi squad, and wouldn't that mean Ullmark and Hutton on the roster with 2 goalies on the taxi squad?

The bolded is pure speculation. Maybe Ralph was answering in earnest. Do you have any shred of evidence that Jack Eichel is currently suffering from a physical injury?

Wil Borgen out 6-8 weeks with a Fractured Forearm

Bad luck. Heal up kid, we'll need ya in a couple of months as we push for the playoffs. -
Still waiting for the arena crew to install the post in the press box. Their still in the basement digging out the galvanized triangle wand 😄

I was actually going to ask if this means Risto is coming back soon.

Ralph Krueger needs to go - like yesterday.

Is it possible to trade a coach? -
Tonight, is the night of nights. Sabres 7 - Devils 0 Olofsson gets a hat for the PP. Dahlin and Hall net 2 each.

I can hear the end of year excuse(press) conference now....

Not for nothing, but Risto's situation is tragic. I really like him as a Sabres, warts and all. The rest, sure, why not. -
Benning moved Kesler, after it was rumored he asked for a trade, years later, both admitted Kesler did not, in point of fact ask for a trade. A year after his Selke year. Kesler went on to be instrumental with the Ducks runs to the conference championship series. While I understand your line of thought, putting Eichel and/or Reinhart on the table will most certainly get Bennings attention. Don't kid yourself.

It's not a detailed hammered out comment, it's a general pieces post. You can toy with it to see what would best fit.

I'll just put this out there, Jim Benning is still the GM of the Canucks, he's kind of on the hot seat if reports early on are to be believed. A Hovart + for Eichel trade may just be what the Dr. ordered for him, and I'd have no problem putting all 215 lbs of aggressive Hovart between Olofsson and Reinhart. Hell, Benning's been known to shake it up, I'd do a Hovart and Boeser for Eichel and Reinhart swap. I know Reinhart has been hitting the score sheet, but that would be a trade I'd do, and as I said, Benning's been known to make moves.

Great, so our "generational 2nd overall lottery pick hockey prize" for intentionally sucking is a basket case? Wonderful. yea, I'm catching it.

I don't believe he has quit on the team. I believe he has quit on himself. Leaders lead the way, not just in the easy ones, but in the toughs one as well. A Dick Winters quote here, and appropriate imo. Eichel isn't leading, at least, not on the ice. And I don't mean he needs the score sheet stats either, what I do mean is he needs to lead, by example. It's clear by his play he's not.
-
To be honest Nitro, he wears the C, I'd put him on another team. He is not a player that is going to help at all in changing the culture here in Buffalo.
-
Eichel is a freaking turnover machine. He plays lackadaisical, aloof and with 0 urgency at any time game after game. It's abundantly clear he is no leader in my opinion.

There is a 3rd option, the organization is trying to make it so uncomfortable for Skinner that he agrees to waive his NMC?
