  1. Apologies if this should go somewhere else:
  2. The Muppets has gotten weird pic.twitter.com/fFLTQxD0ei — PeterNorway (@classiclib3ral) March 30, 2018
  3. Russ Brandon rigged the 2015 draft lottery. My only real issue with that article is referring to KBC as "aging." It's still only 20-some years old? It's not brand new by any stretch but it's not the Coliseum either. A fresh set of paint and lower concession prices would help though. Also I find the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame to be kind of sad. Something like that should be somewhere more prominent, not tucked away in a corner across from the Sabrestore.
  4. This sounds really complicated. I can't even manage all the notifications and share options on my iTrac-Fone
  5. Buy Sabres Season Tickets by the weekend and Casey will heal you. (Praise His name)

  7. Eichel Marry O'Reilly Kill Beaulieu
  8. Just tuned in, I don't know who these commentators are, but after 5 seconds I do know I want the PBP guy taking over for Duffer/Dunleavy and the color guy moving Razor permanently to the sideline.
  9. That or wearing sweaty hockey equipment for 4 hours isn't as comfy as it looks.
  10. @zayjones11FollowFollow @zayjones11 More About to see what this @BuffaloSabres game is about. My first hockey game ever !!
  11. Went to drop my laundry off after the 2nd goal, and "Let Me Clear My Throat" was on Sirius' 90s channel. I was hoping it would be a good omen.
  12. Svechnikov is definitely my personal favorite after Dahlin.
  13. No. This lineup is a little more reasonable to me. I'm just going to make some slight tweaks. -Put Reinhart on the ROR line to start with. He's more than capable of being a top liner, but I'd like to see him see if he can prove if the last couple of months are for real. Likewise, Okposo has looked very good when teamed with Eichel. -I want Nylander to succeed, but I'm not convinced he should be allowed to start next season the 4th line, let alone 2nd. -Preferably, Sabres win the lotto. Realistically, they end up in the top 5 and can still land a quality NHL-ready forward. -I'd prefer Mittlestadt at least start the year in Rochester, unless he proves that the AHL is just too easy for him. -I feel like JBots will make at least one quality FA signing. I'll just put Tavares in as a a placeholder. -Personally, Keep Girgos over Larsson. I just love that klutzy Latvian. So with that said: MY 2018 – 2019 Buffalo Sabres Tavares Eichel Okposo Svechnikov ROR Reinhart C.J. Smith O'Regan E-Rod Wilson Girgensons Baptiste Scandella Nelson Guhle Risto McCabe Antipin Ullmark Johnson

  15. Haven't been to any other arenas to compare it to, but I think KBC is decent. It's a hockey arena, so duh it needs to be kept cold especially by the ice. Usually a layer or two under a jersey is enough to keep me warm enough. It's a little dank and gray in the walkways, nothing some paint and new lighting wouldn't fix. Really, my only major complaint is that the seats an rows aren't big enough for a Daddy longlegs like me. Oh yeah, prices are way over inflated but good lucking getting any sports team to do anything about that.
  16. Kane says goodbye until we meet again. Pretty classy IMO: https://twitter.com/evanderkane_9/status/968251550564077571
  17. When he was hired/at his first presser, the impression I got of Botterill is that he is an accountability-driven exec with high expectations for himself and his colleagues, yet is relatively even-keeled and always willing not to gamble away the long term greater good for a shorter gain. I haven't seen anything since then to make me think otherwise, and for that I'm thankful especially after the tirefire this last administration ended up being. Let's face it, we didn't realize it at the time, but he got a job about as desirable as GM of the Detroit Lions after Matt Millen, or GM of the Cleveland Browns anytime after 1996. Sure he can shape the team according to his vision, but he has to first clean up the other guy's mess first. And this team wasn't the fixer upper most of us thought....this is a HUD gut job in a slowly gentrifying neighborhood. I apologize for the metaphor abuse, but what I'm trying to say is that we're not going to know how good of a talent evaluator he is for a couple of years out. I believe in his vision of draft and develop from within, the trouble is that in the NHL that means the farm teams are going to benefit first, hopefully some trickle up into the big club along with acquiring some productive JAGs. It's going to require a lot of patience, just hope it's worth it in the long run. TL;DR get back to me in 3-5 years.
