  1. Welcome. I should state off the bat that I've only been watching hockey since the last game of the Eichel Tank year, I don't know jack about analytics and advanced fancy stats, and I still have to remind myself from time to time what an offsides is. That being said, you can't go wrong with any of my posts. Raw, feelings-hurting insight without the corporate spin, baby.
  2. None that I'm aware of, but I should note that I live in the City and my parents (who own the account) live in the Finger Lakes. YMMV
  3. I use FUBO and have been very pleased. If you're a cord cutter it's a good alternative to cable and even services like Sling.
  4. It TOTALLY doesn't rememble Ted Kazinsycki or the guy who killed that girl from My Sister Sam. Not at all. ?
  5. Recalled again. He must have forgotten his toothbrush last time.
  6. Have jerseys for Pominville (royal blue), Eichel (15), Reinhart, Risto and McCabe (29), a Zemgus Girgesons-styped puck, and game day program posters for Scandella, Eichel and Larsson. I accidentially decapitated the one for Dahlin that I got from the MTL game. ? Also got the media notes and stats from the Bruins game in February. Someone dropped them from the press box near where we were sitting. Pretty niche but cool none the less.
  7. Just to clarify, does the pick that goes to PIT if Hunwick is waived/sent down? The language as I understood it was that it was only by trade, but I've been wrong before. FTFY
  8. I feel like this is the long-term goal. Didn't Tage say after the trade that BUF had been talking to him about eventually getting first line minutes?
  9. Ullmark was just telling Rayzor about how important it is when EVERYBODY's buying into the game plan. A comment we heard many times in the past was that not everyone was following the coach's directive. Hmm... EDIT: Eichel: "We stick together, and I think it says a lot about the guys in the room"
  10. Good for him. Obviously I want Skinner up front, but after a performance like that, Laine can enjoy the moment. For now.
  11. The PA reported it as an assist for Eichel but the app said it was strictly Skinner, FWIW.
  12. At this point, a Stanley Cup would feel like a disappointment.
  13. Yeah I'm not worried. He's young and learning. If anything the quality of his play seemed to mirror that of the team's.
  14. Thoughts from the nosebleeds: -Someone yelled "WE WANTED DOUGIE!!!" before the anthem. Glad to know I'm not alone. o -As stated on here, Sabres were off today. Way too much passing, an most of those passes had Evander Kane-levels of accuraccy. Things really didn't start clicking until the last few minutes of the 3rd. -Dahlin even looked like ass most of the game. A rare hiccup I'm sure but he was trying to be too fancy at times. However, like the team, he finally got it in gear in the closing minutes. -Refs missed some pretty obvious calls. I don't like blaming refs but guys were getting mugged as they stood idly by. They also seemd to get their jollys from making the teams rotate players a couple of times before faceoffs. -Eichel was P-I-S-S-E-D after the Pommers penalty. Broke his stick in half as he got to the bench. -Crowd was on fire during the start and third. One loud guy in the nosebleeds behind the goal got the crowd going more effectively than the arena did at times. -Sabretooth never brings the t-shirt cannons to the 300s. ? -Is it too late to make Hutton an alternative captain? His leadership has been worth every penny of his contract. Going to Sabres games in the fall/winter has been a wonderful tradition the last few years. Hopefully the time comes when I can afford to do it a little more regularly. Even when they're losing, it's a blast.
  15. If you go store-bought, fine. But it must include a handwritten personal message.
  16. I don't know, but did you make that card for the Pegulas yet?
