Most of us fans have been talking about Sam Reinhart and his future contract with the Buffalo Sabres from the point of view that he wants to stay in Buffalo for the coming 7-8 years. Are we sure that is what Sam wants? 400+ regulation games with 0 playoff games? If I was him I'd hedge my bets and sign a 1-2 year contract to see what happens in Buffalo and get ready to be a UFA.

Does it really matter about JB? This team is so use to losing nothing but dumb luck will change it. Any "competent" player on this team must secretly wish that he gets traded. Does Samson really want to stay in Buffalo because he is friends with Jack? I wouldn't. Sabres have to be at the top of every league players "don't you even think about trading me there" list. There are no "silver bullets" to fix this mess and it's to the point that I don't really care what they do. I remember how excited I was when Buffalo got the Sabres in expansion but these last 9 seasons have more than brutal. It's just sad to be a Sabres fan.

I am looking forward to seeing how they play Friday. Leaf fans will be out in force. It could be the beginning of the end of the season. I have made a deal with myself that when they are in single digits for the lottery (bottom 9 teams) I stop watching. Can't handle it anymore.

It can't be any crazier than a run of HC's featuring Rolston, Nolan, Bylsma, Housley and Krueger. I can only dream of a 90 point season at this point of my life. I've been a fan of this team since inception and the recent run has caused me to not even watch away games anymore. Down to watching home games to see the fans reaction to this ......................don't even have the words to describe this team. Ruff may be the only experienced Head Coach to be willing to take this job. Then again he might just laugh at the offer.
