  1. As a Canadian that hasn't had WNY pizza in over a year, do this! [End thread] 😁 I've taken to making my own to try to emulate the style. We don't have the legit cup and char pepperoni here or the US mozzarella, but there's a place that is maybe 80% there on the pepperoni, and I've found a cheese blend thats ok. My crust is a work in progress, but getting better... I think the key is proof in the fridge. I'm still shooting major blanks on the sauce though. Any tips? Sorry about the hijack.
  2. But while a normal Oh Henry is good, the PB is next level.
  3. There's the PB Oh Henry. It's a Reese peanut butter core surrounded in peanuts and caramel, covered in chocolate. They were making a PB Oh Henry Blizzard for a while at DQ. My wife doesn't even normally like DQ ice cream, but she was all in on those Blizzards!
  4. For the Canadians here... Where does Coffee Crisp rate in your families/circles in popularity? As i mentioned, i don't know anyone that eats it (though some people must since its been around for ever).
  5. If it wasn't chocolate, we'd just call it what it is. Like an Eat More would just be called an Eat More. Same thing if it wasn't in bar form.
  6. Another thing i just noticed... in Canada we always say chocolate bar, not candy bar.
  7. Here in Canada, I don't know anyone who considers Coffee Crisp their favourite. I've always wondered why people from the US like it so much. One tidbit about Canadian chocolate is that its higher in cocoa and cocoa butter than US chocolate so most would say it tastes better. Head to head, I'd say most stuff in the US is better but chocolate is one thing Canadians can lay claim to. In Europe, the chocolate would be even higher quality than Canada. I'll take a Peanut Butter O'Henry as my favourite with Skor not far behind.
  8. I know people from Buffalo really love the Bills and may have been raised more on football than hockey, but the sports are too different to make comparisons. Hockey is more of a team effort. Thats why the top QBs are always in Superbowl contention, whereas McDavid is lucky to win a round.
  9. I based my answer of" Quinn cracks the lineup first but Peterka is better long term" off the world juniors. Quinn struggled at times when Peterka was one of the better players in the tournament. It helped that Peterka played with Stützle, but Canada was pretty stacked throughout their entire lineup.
  10. It would be good if they could start next year in Rochester with a veteren center between them.
  11. Both are promising for sure. Can we not have some fun with it?
  12. I like Peterka overall but Quinn will get a chance first.
  13. He's got two more games he could play. Lets see how he does.
  14. Likely not... Thats why I have him at AHL backup level... Maybe. With Tokarski we have a known ceiling. Houser we still don't... But to your point, we don't know the floor either, where we do with Toker. As a Sabres fan first, I'd be willing to take the chance to see more... Potentially at the expense of ROC of he didn't pan out.
  15. In two starts in ROC he's now got a .952 save percentage. Other than the 1 dud game he's played well so far. If he keeps it up, do you trade Tokarski for some forward help, and let Houser back up UPL?
  16. Did i do something wrong... I don't think i picked the winners of the semis or the number of games.
  17. I'm actually in Canada, but Sahlen Field would be way better to watch a game at vs Rogers Centre. If they picked some dates or teams that historically draw poorly, it could maybe break even... Especially given the ancillary benefit of getting more WNY'ers to games in TO. Likely it would never happen, but it's fun to think about.
  18. Its funny that they decided to run Eichel's locker room clean-up interview right after his exit interview. My kids play rep hockey, and there's always been a strict 24 hour rule where you can't talk to the coach until a full day after the issue happens. This way cooler heads usually prevail. We got Jack pretty much right after he was talking to Adams. For sure that set the stage for what we got on Monday.
  19. Wouldnt it be great if the Jays pulled a Ralph Wilson and played a couple games a season in Buffalo.
  20. Eichel was the reason we still won games with these trainwreck players. Trading him is only part of the solution if we get a good deal.
  21. I think what everyone is trying to say to you, is its not Eichel's fault we keep finishing last. Its: Eakin, Okposo, Sobotka, Hutton, Irwin, Vesey, Bogosian, Frolik, Johannsen, Johannsen, Miller, Beaulieu, Bergland, Hunwick, Tennyson, Antipin, Fedun, Nolan, Pouliot, Deslauriers, Falk, Grant, Kulikov, Moulson, Legwand, Colioacovo's fault, among many others. Worse yet, we keep playing many of these guys even when its readily apparent that they suck. To use the baseball term... almost every one of them played well below replacement level, yet we kept throwing then out there. Granato, is the first coach we've had that looks like he's serious about sitting the dead weight, and he said as much today. Eichel just happens to be the unlucky face of the team that drafts, trades for, and plays these really bad players.
  22. The Yankees probably don't want to give up or share their historical TV rights to the WNY market... But it only makes sense that Buffalo should be a Blue Jays town with the farm team right there. Do they show the Mets games in Buffalo too?
  23. Given all the kids seem to like Granato, I'm not sure if we can afford to bring some old schooler who's going to want to make them leave town along with the veterans.
