Either way it's bad news if he started off saying he would like to move on or something. Then we either trade him for an even further depressed value or we keep him and it's hanging over the team all season.

I think this is the blueprint the Sabres are trying to create this season. Not necessarily separate opponents from pucks but moving it quick and helping the offense improve based on more effective breakouts and first passes.
