Heard the entire song for the first time this morning. It's a great one. Certainly a song many can relate to and appreciate. I know I do.

Owners don't want it. Players haven't really expressed an opinion yet. Tavares got injured last year. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Id like it if NHL players continue to play in the Olympics. Flyers owner has been very against the players being in the Olympics for a number of reasons.

Goon is awesome. Picked it up on DVD right away. Haven't seen The Last Gladiators. Have to surf Netflix for that one.

I plead guilty to that. Had to go through the 10 step program to get me to quit. I almost made it, but the nail biting finish for "McEichel" ruined it! Back to step one!

Only way I wouldn't be happy w/ Eichel is if he doesn't sign w/ the Sabres for the 2015/16 season. Eichel's college coach is encouraging him to move on to the NHL this year, correct?

Teaching physical education and coaching cross country and track. Love my job. Many kids do not realize what they are capable of. In fact, a number of them find a talent they never knew they had. What makes the job very enjoyable is when a kid sets a personal record in their event. The smile on their face is priceless. It has nothing to do w/ what place they come in. Another great thing about coaching is the indirect message of the importance of having a strong work ethic. Sure, many kids will realize they have to have complete dedication to reach their full potential in the event(s) they participate in. After doing this, they begin to apply it other parts of their life. And yes, that includes education. Teaching/coaching is a great job to have.

As they say, build from the goalie out. Buffalo's defense is going to be scary good very soon. May possibly, if they reach their potential, have one of the better group of centers in NHL. Having Girgenson, Kane, Ennis and Moulson on the wings form a quality top 6. Time will tell. Major question mark is goaltending. There is no telling of what Murray has in mind. I have a lot of faith in the guy.

Honestly see Eichel going w/ 15. He's worn it before, and I'm quite sure he doesn't want to have much in common w/ McDavid. Even though McDavid will be wearing 97, I highly doubt Eichel will go w/ any number in 90's, particularly 96. He seems to be the type of guy that wants to prove people wrong. Eichel's level of confidence is through the roof. All this love for McDavid across the NHL has to be ticking him off and giving him even more reason to play 110% from start to finish. And here's a quote from Steve Prefontaine. Suits Eichel perfectly. He probably hasn't heard it before, but it's one I like to think he'd believe in. "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift."

According to SBNation, EIchel does not have to declare himself for the draft. "The NHL entry draft is one of universal eligibility. If you're 18 and real (or not), you are eligible to be drafted into the NHL. One doesn't have to "declare"."

I've never purchased a Sabres jersey w/ a name on the back. With Eichel coming to the Sabres I feel the time has come. His name on the back and whatever number he has. Kane wears number 9, so Eichel may have to go w/ something else. Waiting for all of that to go down.

And it's Jack to the Future! Seriously, don't understand why people are upset Buffalo didn't land McDavid. Yes, he's the best, but Eichel is a scary good player. Give the guy some credit. The tank was for 'McEichel', not McDavid. The tank has been accomplished. Now let's look forward to the draft and free agency. We're going Jack to the Future!

So very true. Take a look at NHL 15. Trailer is breathtaking. Actual game graphics are great, but not in comparison to the trailer. Have fingers crossed Battlefront 3 is very close to what the trailer had to offer. This is already a must buy in my opinion.

Which makes it even more likely the Sabres will take it. If it's bound to happen, it'll happen. I know numbers in the past have no impact on tonight's lottery, but it's good to think it's only happened so many times.....

I'm not too familiar w/ the Batman vs. Superman story. There has to be some antagonist they team up against. Maybe one trying to get Batman and Superman to wipe each other out? Looking forward to the movie. Just wish they had made a second Man of Steel first.

Might wait for the ball drawing on NHL.com to make it fun to watch. Would increase the suspense. So Kramer on this one!

Wouldn't mind that w/ the transition the Sabres are going through. Ullmark is the goalie I have high hopes for. Miller would be a great mentor for him. Miller has two years remaining on his contract. He'll be making 6 million each year. Question is what would Buffalo have to give up to bring Miller back? As @fakegor pointed out, Miller has only had 1 start in the last 7 weeks. It makes sense why Lack is starting in the playoffs. Vancouver may have no desire to trade the guy. Now, if Lack stands on his head during the playoffs, Vancouver may decide he is their guy and may consider trading Miller. However, what do the Canucks have in their system? If they have next to nothing, Miller will not be traded.

What frustrates me is the chance of a near miss playoff team winning the lottery. In the past a team could only improve their draft position by 4. Why was that changed? A few years back New Jersey won the lottery and moved from 8th to 4th. That enabled the team finishing last to have the 1st pick. Just do not understand why a team like Boston or LA has a chance at McDavid. The NHL should be following the NFL when it comes to the draft. If a team finishes in last place they get the 1st pick. I understand the NHL changed their draft system to help prevent "tanking", but it is quite obvious teams are still willing to do it. Even w/ a new system coming into play next year teams, if a player like McDavid is in the draft, will still do what it takes to increase their chances of landing that 1st pick. NHL should have gone w/ the old saying "If it's not broke, don't fix it." A tank will always happen when a once a generation player is up for grabs.
