  1. Just now having a chance to checkout the game. Crawford standing on his head tonight? Post# 2,179 And Chicago leads it 3 to 2! Happy w/ that.
  2. Major yeppers on that. PS4 NHL 15 lacked the features PS3 NHL 15 had, but the gameplay/graphics were simply a whoa!
  3. I'm not a tech guy, but according to Gamespot the PS4 is 10 times more powerful and 16 times faster than the PS3 . I've had it since Christmas and haven't been disappointed w/ what I've had to play. The library is rather small, but it is like that on all next-gen consoles. A number of games are not set to one system. Bloodborne is one of the few, but 2016 is fast approaching. Uncharted 4 is a highly anticipated game and can only be played on the PS4. It is one I cannot wait for. 1 console only games are on the horizon. In all honesty, it's difficult to see graphical upgrades in today's systems, but it is worth the investment. Games are larger, more detailed and arguably more fun. Depends on what type of gamer you are. In fact, I'm also a Nintendo Wii U fan. I enjoy playing games on that console w/ my kids. That system is all about the fun factor. And as many say, gameplay/fun is greater than graphics. And let me add this. I just beat that son of a b*%#& on Bloodborne. It almost felt like an important game winning goal for the Sabres..... It's been so long it's hard to remember. Post # 2,177

This is something I hope Murray is considering. A 5 to 6 mill contract will leave a little cap space for the extensions of Girgensons, Eichel, Reinhart, Risto, etc.... As nfreeman pointed out, 4 1st and 9 mill per year is too much. Pass on Tarasenko.
  5. Anyone else playing Bloodborne on the PS4? Very difficult, but it's an incredible game. A boss known as Father Gascoigne is kicking the crap out of me. Have made numerous attempts to beat the guy, but can never finish him off when he makes his 3rd and final transformation. Haven't played a game as difficult as this in years. One of the many reasons I am enjoying it. *Post number 2,176.

After losing Drury and Briere, Darcy probably felt he had to match Lowe's offer. Buffalo could've had 4 1st rounders.... And if Chicago can't work things out to keep Saad, I hope Murray lands him. But as already said, the Sabres will probably be in the lottery next year, so Murray may not even think about going for Saad.
  7. I went the expensive route. Had Little Caesar's tonight. *2,172 posts
  8. Here's a fun way to remember the name. DirtDart rhymes w/ fart. Farts are dirty. So you have DirtDart! :nana:
  9. Something to hope for is not assuming new members are bandwagoners. *Post 2,170 I'll be putting a post count on each post I enter. Have to because one of the mods jacked everything up! Just messin'..... :nana:
  10. Alright, I'll admit I normally do not read the articles posted on SabreSpace. Reason being is the quality of news/opinions here on the message board. However, while sipping a little coffee this morning I noticed SabreSpace posted an article from yahoo sports. That is practically an automatic do not read! Most yahoo articles are terribly written and lack credibility. Yes, there are other sources or providers that also umm....suck, but yahoo is a complete joke. Sorry, just had to express my opinion. Yahoo blows.
  11. Very good opinion to have!
  12. Only curious to what others may have on their mind. In all honesty it didn't cross mine until this evening. People, not on this board, are having heated debates about what went down. Let me add Kane's thoughts have not changed my opinion of him. Very excited he's a Sabre.
  13. I've been watching a lot of hockey on NBC. What is this word you speak of? Pass? It seems interesting. And we now have a series!!! Guaranteed to go at least 6. Hoping Chicago pulls it off. Mainly because if Tampa were to win 2 Cups before the Sabre win 1, I'll throw up.
  14. Anyone else thinking about Evander Kane's opinion on what went down in Texas? He stressed racism....
  15. What a prick?! Just messin'. Glad you're posting. In all seriousness do it more often.
  16. Would beyond love it if Murray went for him. I'm grabbing a cold one on that goal!
  17. I'm watching the game online. Have a computer hooked up to a smart tv that is too stupid to watch things online. Someone lied to the tv. Cable? Not for me. Only watch hockey, football and reruns of Seinfeld. A local sports bar and a DVD player cover all of that. And Kane needs to get the puck on net. He has been very quiet this series. Not typical of him. Now capitalize on the pp Chicago!
  18. That's not a combine. That's torture. How many people here are on meds now after experiencing all of that?
  19. Getting off topic, but the Simpsons is about to take a HUGE nose dive. Homer and Marge are going to legally separate, rumor is this won't be permanent, and Harry Shearer, plays Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Principal Skinner and Rev. Lovejoy, is leaving the show due to contract disputes. You can't replace a guy who's played these parts for 26 seasons. Now, this show has been on the air way too long and ran out of ideas years ago, but the direction it is going now will lead to an ending of the series. They should try to work things out w/ Shearer and finish the series on a high note. Apologize for getting off topic.
  20. How many of you go w/ the tradition and grow a beard when the Sabres are in the playoffs? And ha How many of you were unable to grow a beard the last time the Sabres were in the playoffs because your body couldn't do it yet? I know it's more for the players, but I think it's cool for the fans to do it as well if they want to. Watch an MLB playoff game. When a team needs late inning rally, you see a number of fans w/ their hats turned inside out to help "spark" one.
  21. Ha! Practically made me spit out my morning coffee! That deserves a +1
  22. Ha Maybe have some type of "combine" to put a potential ceiling on each poster?
  23. In certain professions there is a fine line one must walk. Today, many have to sign a code of ethics and are advised to not share their opinions/beliefs that could bring some type of public backlash to the employer. I'm not saying whether or not I support the now former police officer in McKinney. Just stressing in today's society you really have to watch what your back.
  24. Hockey is a major part of culture game. I understand there are professional teams across the nation, but the appreciation/support for the game mainly comes from areas that have hockey a part of the community. Hockey teams not in an actual hockey market tend to get support only when they are playing well. If players are encouraged or told not to grow playoff beards it'll take away something from the playoff atmosphere. Most people in true hockey communities don't have the opinion of "That guy looks like the kid next door." The beards are appreciated by many. Again, it's a part of the game. It's tradition. If not's not broke don't fix it.
