I get the idea that trading Risto, ROR, Reinhart, Scandella will make the return more but that doesn't necessarily mean it makes us better. I'm more of the opinion especially now that the burn of last season has healed slightly, to start dumping the bottom half of this roster for serviceable replacements. Hopefully with more speed and skill. GKr is our biggest need and will probably be our best bet to improve drastically in the standings. If we get bounce back years from a healthy Nylander and Okposo, our forward ranks aren't nearly as bad as they appeared last year. Dahlin, Scandella and Guhle/McCabe is not a terrible trio on the left side of our D, we just need someone to step up or pickup a top 4 D on the right and this will be the best set of Dmen we've had in quite awhile. I'm not quite as ready to burn down the house right now and hopefully the winning that #1 pick hasn't blinded me to what needs to be done. Now that the Penguins are knocked out of the playoffs, there's word that they may make some changes to their roster. Botts needs to possibly pick up a serviceable player from them and not necessarily a star to get the ball rolling but I don't see anything getting done before and after the draft.

Not that I necessarily disagree with you but every generation has a greatest player, Lebron just happens to be in this one. Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Carl Lewis to name a few would have to be ranked up there also if not Wilt Chamberlain who not only is in the Basketball HOF but also the Volleyball HOF.

Actually Reinhart said so himself at the end of the year interviews. He seems to play better with ROR IMO He's still young and I wouldn't trade him unless they receive an offer they can't refuse and I'm afraid Doohickie will become unbearable if they do trade his boy

With all the hype on this kid, I don't trade him for anything short of McDavid.

This is a 1 day trip, besides that Utah is the most boring and ugliest state in the Union. This I can guanatee will be an awesome trip. Great sights and if you're into canoeing, kayaking and white water rafting is even better. Yellowstone is incredible, I didn't know until I camped there that it is a giant volcano, which will make perfect sense once you see some of the sites.

By a very good Boston team that was the hottest team in the league at the end of the year. That's still an up and coming team that I hope we can field a team that can compete with them. It would be nothing short of awesome to get this rivalry stirred up again. Plus they are a major rival of our team but I'm not sure we're on the same level for them.

I do agree that the NHL has a goofy system. If Floriday wins the lottery after having 96 points this year...... what possible fairness is that to the bottom dwellers whoever they might be. STUPID. Bottom 4 teams and anyone within 10 points of the bottom dweller gets in a lottery. Keeps someone from tanking who shouldn't and the bottom dwellers still get the top picks. It's like last year, Phlly and Dallas had no business getting picks over Colorado, Arizona or Vancouver. While I'm at it, there's no reason why we can't jump up in the playoff picture next year. Not only did Colorado do it but New Jersey did also with big time jumps in regular season points.

Downton Abbey was really good also. I watched it when it was new and they had a 1/2 hour show after each show that explained the nuances and traditions of the class system in Britain. Not only the rich/poor aspect but the class system in the monarchy itself. It was eye opening to me.
