Knowing the NHL, I'm sure they will schedule the Sabres to play Toronto, Boston, Washington and then Toronto again

So the biggest question will be, does he want a big pay check and be on team that may or may not go anywhere in the next 8 years or does he take a slightly low paycheck and possibly go to a team that is already heading in the right direction......decision decisions?

I'm not a numbers guy and don't pay attention to teams cap space. What playoff bound teams would have the cap space and need a winger like Skinner to upgrade in the off season??? Oh, sorry I'm usually a forum stalker and not a poster....lol

Maybe for Botterill it does but it really doesn’t. His own bio on NHL.com said he was out due to an ankle injury for the SCF so his name was never placed on the cup the first time.

You honestly believe he's even going to entertain an offer from the Sabres? If the team continues on this path he will laugh in their faces. Oh and he's the best player because he's trying to raise his stock.

Very bad decision from one of the young "vets." Not just the DUI, which is bad, but leaving the scene which is plain stupid. That shows he was trying to not take ownership of his mistake and probably planned to lie about what happened to the truck (ie. "My truck was stolen"). I hope Dan and Tim set a precedence with this incident. With such a young team they need to show that this type of behavior will not be tolerated. I know most people would think I'm crazy but I would suspend him for the first week of the season.

I'm not concerned about his numbers last season. Goalies have bad seasons.... What is my concern is the concussion.

I'm not that depressed over losing out on McDavid. It doesn't matter too much since we're getting a great player as a "consolation." If McDavid was the only great player then I would be pretty pissed too.
