Woods Racer in the English to Swedish Google translation machine gets spit out as .... Woods Racer. So I changed it. I'm officially Swedish.

My hope is that MM does so well in Ontario that he impresses the coaches enough that LA wants him. Everybody wins in that scenario. MM is a good guy, love to see him finish out on top.

:w00t: Thanks Boyes! Can always use a good laugh!

Not sure how you plan on investing but I can tell you my game plan. I have a high yield savings account with Synchrony Bank that is set up to receive money transfers from my checking automatically. If there's a little more to put in at the end of a month, I do a manual transfer. Save up till you have enough to buy into a Mutual Fund. They usually require $1000.00 to $1500.00 to buy in. The higher rated larger funds usually have a higher buy in around $2500.00 to $5,000.00. I use Fidelity, shop around there are many more like them you don't have to go with them. My Fidelity account is set up to receive transfers from Synchrony. I set up a transfer, then once the funds clear Fidelity I purchase my Mutual Fund. If you are saving for retirement and do not have a 401k option open a Roth account with Fidelity (or who ever). If you are doing this to try for more of a short term return and see no use putting it in a savings account or money market account and want low risk, look into a Mutual Fund that specializes in municipal bonds. Small local governments have been hard strapped and need cash, they're a good investment, but your return is never going to exceed 3-4 %. This is still much higher than any savings account. If this is a long term goal your looking at, say 20-25 years from now for your return. Look at the big stock Funds, especially International funds. The international funds have been terrific for the last 8 years. The have been the major source of the bull market. You can still invest in American companies, but choose those that have heavily invested for the last several years outside of America. Asset class diversification is crucial to success over the long term. Then in that asset class be sure to buy as many different funds as you can. If you want more specifics I would be glad to give them to you, just need a time frame that you want your money.

Game Discussion Thread Sabres at Avalanche, 12/5/2017, 9 PM ET

This game just got very interesting. Girgs riding the fake leather in the press box. Sam on the fourth line. Some telling tales of an unhappy coach and GM. -
Because he's paying 2 players and not just 1?
-
3 million is not chump change. I doubt he leaves without it.
-
Bogo is actually trade worthy. We can differ all we want on his value, but there is value.
-
Russ was just letting Jack know that Matt was to be waived today.
-
He helps Rochester this way if he clears waivers, right? That way kids can start rotating up to the big club without Matt in the press box every night. If he doesn't clear waivers are we sad?
-
Which is way better than what we get when he walks next summer.
-
Thanks rakish for plugging away! It's just proof that week after week some very high 1st round draft picks on his team are not pulling their weight. The real problem is we have a gaggle of them and we can't just replace them in the near future. They where supposed to be our future.

Jack looked as interested in football as he does in hockey.

Risto's goal doesn't count? It was THE nicest goal scored by our defense this season. -
What's instagram live? A twitter clone?

You should! It's a great way to get around. Last time my credit info was stolen was by a taxi driver in Miami. The dam transit industry is filled with nothing but thieves.

Watched the Phili Pens game the other night. Phili looked good till 4 minutes left in the game and then imploded. At one point in the game I was jealous of the Flyer's fans for having decent hockey to watch. Then BAM, they got Crosby'd. Sucks to be a Phili fan also. My heart breaks for them.

What makes me excited about this rumor is Botterill. He has the Murray *ball's* to make a trade. And. The Darcy return ratio expectation.
-
For which team?
-
Can't root for losses. Just can't. Not saying they're not a dumpster fire and I wouldn't love a high pick. But, I think a team coming together and figuring out how to win is worth more than any draft pick at this point.
-
The Sabres with a chance? That's just crazy eyed talk.
-
I'll be watching. Game should be over with in the first. Then Tampa doing just enough to get the win for the next 2 periods. Bogo will look rusty. Just call me Captain Obvious.
