Not a puck luck game tonight. A well played team effort. Some adversity with Jack going down early and the rest of team kept playing hard. Nice to see, bet they would have folded earlier in the year. Could the *Dads* Have brought some extra fun and confidence with them on this trip? They sure looked like they had a great time! Well, except Evander's, he looked all business.

My suspicion is Baloo looks better on paper and PH feels that Antipin is a bigger liability in the D-zone than Baloo. I just think that Antipin has a bigger upside than Baloo and as he has gotten more ice time Antipin has progressed. Baloo has not changed, and is playing at the level we have seen him play since training camp. And as some others have suggested, PH may see Baloo as a pet project, because Baloo reminds PH of his younger self.

Nice to have a more unbiased opinion on Lehner. I feel the same as you.

Any one touch on Lehner's play ? I thought he played a bad game for him. Loved the game last night, just wish they could put a complete sound team effort together.

Antipin getting some tough minutes. Have a real good suspicion as to why PH isn't playing him every game, but would just love it if they did.

I think Weber was the last of deals like that, and if I remember the other team had some desperation. I would love to see Gorges end his playing on a high note with a club running deep into the playoffs. Just don't see a club being that desperate. Falk I think is a serviceable, easy money contract D man that still has no chance unless there is desperation by a team hit by the injury bug.

I don't see anyone trading anything for our 7/8 defenders. Every team has them at the same skill level.

As in how PK Subban likes to agitate opposing teams ? Knowing what you eat and using Kottbullar's form of offensive I think your right, we may never be able to afford your special skills!

Thought Lehner played better than in his shutout games. They played for 60 minutes. Something we have harped about the whole season. A lot of skill on display for both teams, puck luck won out. Entertaining game against a really good team. Baby steps. We're better now than 4 months ago, couldn't say that last February. Not happy, but seeing improvement leads to encouragement for the future as a fan.

I hope you'll give it another try PA, but understand if you don't.

Pennsylvania has State Run stores. I can't even special order any of those. Really interested in The GlenDronach, I can get the 18 year, but not the bang for the buck 12.
