Cardiac Kids strike again.

It's very early for this discussion. The factor I'm leary about is disrupting the chemistry that is developing in this dressing room. Every year there are deadline deals that improved the team on paper but fizzled out during the actual playoffs. They need to keep their eyes open for deals but not seek them out for a win at all cost playoff.

He has not garnered the attention yet, but a few more games like this and it may get mentioned. The stats are ramping up for Dahlin and the highlight reel as well. Dahlin plays a tougher position, is a year younger and has a physical side to his game. I am biased, but he gets my vote if he builds on this last game.

Wow, huge confidence builder. I was at an OHL game, thus missed this one. UPL had an easy win for Sudbury, looks good. An earlier comment about checking the standings caught my attention because I am doing that a lot now. They are a playoff contender. In the past few years, I would already be looking at and anxiously awaiting new draft lists. What a difference. Let's go Buffalo!

I've heard it a thousand times that the game is not played on paper, but the Canucks do not come across as a division leader. Travis Green is getting kudos for his coaching, could be a large part of it. Let's beat these guys. Set the tone for when we meet our expansion brothers in the 50th anniversary season Stanley Cup final.

I think that game shows what he can do. I think he can hit that level a few times a season to give us secondary scoring. I also love that he can play all three forward positions, PP and PK. He is our Swiss Army knife.

The team is in the playoff discussion. I hope he has individual success, but the team comes first. He is a big part of it and has assumed a leadership role he will improve on every game. I don't want him winning the Art Ross while the team misses the playoffs. Not dismissing McDavid's accomplishments, but most of them prefer team championships. He probably is not elite but darn close. Dahlin's growth will also bring out more from Jack.

The Habs are not as good as their record, let's show them.
