  1. He'll be the natural antithesis of everything we do in Buffalo for Toronto. It makes it exciting. He's a very good skilled forward for sure. The game has been fast paced and exciting!
  2. NA outplaying the older grizzled vet Europa team. Halak has been fresh though, as has Kopitar.
  3. Team NA all the way. As long as Matt Murray and Gibby play out of their minds they have a legit chance. Team Canada and Sweden will be heavily favored, but I like NA's chances.
  4. They are perfect as is. The only exemption would be if Buffalo went back to the Black and Red. Those are still my favorite non-current jerseys. We don't need a mole as our logo again.
  5. I hate the NFL, almost a month until hockey!
  6. I am over the Briere/Drury days, it's been almost a decade now. However, both were great for the franchise at that stage. Now its about Jack, Sam and ROR and company.
  7. Lol, that's great TB! lol I'm going to be going semi frequently to Coyotes games, especially if Buffalo ever makes it out here. :D
  8. It's been a while, good to be back. Ready for hockey, even if I am moving to Arizona within the month.
  9. Back to the choose one: Larsson or Girgensons.
  10. True, but he's putting up points, plays a heavy game. The thing that he needs to fix are coachable.
  11. Love the player, but if you cannot get your head so far removed from your ass, then you need to go. This is when you become a bad stain on a franchise. I'm tired of this . He seems like a good enough person, but he needs to get his head on straight otherwise, he's KHL bound.
  12. The Killorn contract is a little absurd. He seemed like the most reasonable to let go. But, hey let them add another to the books.
  13. Got two more done. Now get Rasmus and Zemgus done!
  14. Vesey needs to be done and Rasmus needs to sign. That's all!
  15. Hopefully this helps his case if there is a suspension pending by the NHL after their investigation. Losing two top six forwards for any length of time is never good. Especially when ROR, led all forwards in ice time and in the top 5 in face off's.
  16. It's definitely an interesting hire. Something outside the box, sort of similar but not completely to the Hakstall hire in Philly last offseason. No one saw that coming. It's just an assistant and I know its hard to compare to a National Championship winning College coach. But, sort of unexpected. Neat.
  17. Nylander signs his before Mathews. HAH. Not that it matters, but a little bit hilarious.
  18. I got a call at work for a woman who couldn't figure out why her screen was blank on her monitor. Low and behold, the monitor wasn't turned on. 15 minutes to discover something so rudimentary. FFS!
  19. i'm starting to not care at all.
  20. I agree, Carrier could easily play on the fourth line. He'd be an adequate replacement for Foligno's cap hit. Someone has to be enamored with his size and skating to give up something more tantalizing than he's shown potentially.
  21. Gionta, is here one more season and has done nothing but carry himself well. He's earned the right to captain the team in his final year. Unless extended at a lower cap hit.
  22. I have zero interest in trading him. I know all the stuff that's been said or done in the offseason, but I really like what he brings to our team. Unless the trade is paramount for the room/culture, you're throwing him for nothing. Seeing Moulson more and no Kane would make me pissed off.
  23. I'd personally fire Rob Ray and give him a life time supply of pocket squares. Trade Moulson for a pack of Genny. +1 on pushing Shanny down a flight of stairs and slapping Jeremy Jacobs. Change the logo back to the black and red. (Though I love the originals) Extend Tim Murray. +1 on raising a 1999 banner that reads "No goal".
  24. Makes sense. I would say so, he just needs some coaching up. I see a lot there to like. I think he might have more NHL promise than his brother.
  25. Baptiste looked like he did coming into his first camp. I was impressed with Fasching the most, he looked poised and the most pro ready. While Carrier doesn't do anything stellar, I still think he could be a solid bottom six forward and could step in if Buffalo were to move on from Foligno. Nylander and Asplund looked very good with carrying the puck and the general speed and flow of the game. Like any first timer, there are moments of lapse and "getting lost" out there. Overall I was impressed.
