  1. I heard Seth Appert is a PP specialist. Maybe the Sabres can loan him to help out the America.
  2. I’ve heard Dahlin likes to fight. Maybe he’ll throw some.
  3. He’s too busy thinking about the next teammate he’ll punch in practice after getting his ***** gets sore.
  4. This is wild. Many on here were wanting KA to sign this guy after 1 good season.
  5. I don’t think a team captain should be fighting teammates.
  6. I hope the poor dude never had to leave his couch during this nonsense.
  7. Maybe because his name means *****?
  8. He may have just been brought in for insurance in case things went south with UPL. Reimer was brought in 7/1/24, maybe even as leverage. UPL was signed about 3 weeks later.
  9. I’ve been to Paris twice and came away not super impressed. It’s a large city and very large cities tend to be same-ish. The beaches of Normandy is something else. Very eerie and solemn. The air is really “heavy”, especially when you realize it was basically a suicide mission. MSM is sort of “down the road” and very medieval, quaint, and romantic.
  10. Completely agree with this. Been to Prague a few times, and it has its charm, but nothing beats Tuscany. And Dubrovnik, staying at one of the resorts on the water outside the city, is like paradise. Have not been to Greek islands and not a big fan of Paris. Not a big fan of France for the most part, but Mount St Michelle and the Normandy coast is very nice. Have not been to other areas of France though.
  11. Sorry, I feel out of the loop. Why can’t Ratliff be our starter in Rochester? Does he need to go back to Juniors due to the age rules?
  12. And thank God for this. I’m glad we are playing our starters in preseason and not wonder which prospect will make it on to the club. Last year was a disaster in this regard. Let’s get the rust out now and start the season strong.
  13. Yeah. The guy is a POS. My guess is he would’ve done the same thing, and killed them, even if he was a half drink below the lower limit.
  14. This guy had a BAC of 0.087. A smidgen above the legal limit of 0.08. Goes to show, there is no safe limit of alcohol in your blood when you get behind the wheel. It’s also possible this guy would’ve hit them if he was completely sober. Unfortunately, it happens every day. I’m sure the vast majority of drivers who strike and kill a pedestrian or bicyclist are sober when it happens. Either way, a driver shouldn’t be drinking at all. Its dangerous enough sober. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/41245430/man-charged-death-gaudreau-brothers-had-087-bac
  15. “He mentioned that the Flames are willing to entertain offers for several key players, including forward Nazem Kadri, who has a no-movement clause but might be open to relocating east, closer to Toronto, though not necessarily to the Maple Leafs.” I have a team in mind for him.
  16. It’s obviously distracting to what really happened here and what we should be focusing on: 2 bicyclists are dead due to a drunk driver.
  17. I’m not sure he made an enemy. It’s a weird situation. Armstrong also sent EDM a 3rd in 2028 and whoever Paul Fischer is for basically nothing. I’m not sure why a more comprehensive trade wasn’t just consummated. From outside appearances, EDM must’ve known this was coming. Maybe EDM thought Armstrong was bluffing?
  18. I finally got around to watch this. I know they are presenting things as nice little tied up stories and don’t show the negatives, but it’s hard not to get excited after watching this. Mission accomplished on their part.
  19. Carolina just signed him to a 2 year deal yesterday.
  20. I have been to Europe over 10 times now and Italy still remains my favorite. Best food hands down. Would stick to the Florence region, but I’ve never been to Venice. Edit: I wouldn’t go to Italy without going to Siena.
  21. We should give UPL what he deserves. The only thing I ask is to sign him to a tradable contract.
  22. If no single player in our top 6 misses more than a cumulative 14 days.
  23. This is hilarious. I am a physician and my wife is as well. I have been smart enough to go work in Industry. She works for an extremely large corporate national healthcare system. If we won the lottery tomorrow, it’s laughable she would continue being worked like a dog. Correct, this isn’t the 50s, but it sure as hell isn’t the 90s either. People need to open their eyes.
