Imagine that. A team with goalie issues early in the season went out and did something about it.

Points are really meaningless here. This is not a playoff team. Playoff teams don’t win 2 lose 2 win 3 lose 3…. It’s constant up and down with more downs than ups sprinkled in. Too little too late. Unless they go on a win-streak equal to their losing streak, the season is finished.

Can’t hit on all of them I guess.

Don’t know why the poll is already closed, but the answer is obvious. They will go on a tear. Play 0.600 hockey and in the end, will miss the playoffs by 1-2 games. KA will say it was a learning year for Lindy and the team is well on their way.

They let go of the Boogyman too. Maybe he can help our players grow some hair on their nuts.

But at the same time, they are diluting the value of their clubs. If there were 5 teams, people would murder to get one. 50? Not so much. But I do see the appeal of immediate cash.

He won’t hire a hockey guy to make the best hockey decisions for this club. He’s insulated by “yes” men. The thing is, the most competent hockey guy out there who is available is likely going to be an ***** and won’t put up with or know how to handle the meddling. That said, it’s Terry’s team. He’s allowed to do as he pleases, but don’t pretend winning is #1. It isn’t.

He’ll definitely get there, but at what cost? The NHL should snuff this guy out before he permanently hurts someone. For him, blindsiding a guy into the boards wasn’t good enough, he led with his forearm into the back of his neck to make sure his face got the brunt of it.

I just don’t see how players can revolt against a GM for roster construction. Don’t they have a shred of insight in that they may be the roster problem? And that they may be the one that is moved to construct a better roster. A true roster leader wouldn’t automatically assume it’s the other guy that’s the problem.

Would this be reason to effectively forfeit? Such a player wouldn’t play another game in the NHL. Any roster not built to win a round or 2 in the playoffs should give up?

Why would we support them taking a knee? lol. They are the problem. But I wouldn’t put it past them to deflect the blame.

I am fine with trading away every single player on this team. It could be like an expansion draft where we make trades instead of drafting our team. That said, I don’t want KA to do it. I’m sure other teams are swimming around like sharks right ready to take a bite of the rotting carcass and we’ll end up taking on cap dumps like the St Louis trade. Send KA on his way and bring in a real NHL GM. Let him sort it out, including Lindy’s fate.

I don’t think I would be upset if any player on this team was moved. Tage, Dahlin, whoever else. Wouldn’t matter and I would understand.

I agree. Funny how we constantly have the wrong players. ROR, didn’t want to be here, gone. Eichel, didn’t want to be here, gone. Sammy, don’t want to be here, gone. Mitts, who knows if he wanted to stay, but Cozens, so gone. Lots of horrible players we had to get rid of.

Normally, I would say he said he wanted to leave prior to the injury. Imagine him with Reinhart on the team? I mean, we probably wouldn’t have Dahlin, but still fun to think about.

I was thinking more along the lines of Pittsburgh’s or Chicago’s past successes. But, still, we can all be on board that a generational talent alone simply doesn’t work. At least not anymore. I guess KA is hung up on how Tampa Bay constructed their roster. Or the Canes.

I’m not an NHL GM, nor do I play one on TV. Isn’t it known by now how to build a competitive team? Is it youth, a “generational” talent, defense, vets, what? In the NFL is easy to identify how to build a contender, yet harder to do. You need a great QB with weapons for him and an above average defense. A tried and true formula that works many more times than it doesn’t. So, why is it not clearly known how to build an NHL team? Isn’t there a clear history of how great teams are made? I feel KA is making this up as he goes.
