At 2160, 2 units on Buffalo. I thought of doing more, but I'm worried that the Sabres are down to one good D pairing. And God forbid it goes to a shootout with Lehner in goal.

Eichel turning into a superstar right in front of our eyes...

I saw Perreault play. It's hard to compare because the game is so different. Back then there was more interference and the red line required more short passes between zones. I think there was a bigger difference between Perreault and other players with their relative speed. He would pick up the puck in the Sabres zone and go end to end past the other team. He was at his best when going full speed. I think Eichel has a better shot and can create more offense while standing still given his puckhandling skills. And as with most modern players, Eichel is in better shape compared to players like Perreault who would smoke between periods. But Perreault would create the same type of excitement whenever he started a rush down the ice. -
Given that the difference in the recorded votes in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania were less than 1%, it's perfectly reasonable and allowed for a recount to occur regardless of how the votes were recorded. Today's totals, Clinton 65,178,687 Trump 62,633,870, a popular vote lead of 2,544,817 for Clinton. @paulkrugman Trump would have to make one Carrier-sized deal a week for 30 years to save as many jobs as Obama's auto bailout. In response to a CNBC report that Carrier will receive "new inducements" from Indiana, trade attorney Scott Lincicome, an adjunct scholar at the libertarian Cato Institute, criticized the deal. "'New inducements'" = Subsidies," Lincicome wrote, adding "CONGRATULATIONS INDIANA TAXPAYERS! YOU INVOLUNTARILY BOUGHT AN INEFFICIENT AC FACTORY." And there it is. "New inducements" = Subsidies. Spearheaded by fmr. Indiana Governor Pence. #draintheswamp https://t.co/ecJMtSssO9 — Scott Lincicome (@scottlincicome) November 30, 2016 Justin Wolfers, a professor of economics at the University of Michigan, commented that the deal could set a troubling precedent. "Every savvy CEO will now threaten to ship jobs to Mexico, and demand a payment to stay," Wolfers wrote on Twitter, adding "great economic policy." http://money.cnn.com/2016/11/29/news/economy/trump-carrier-deal/index.html

At some point people need to admit their getting older and put away the Karma Sutra books.
-
Or when the crowd at Trump rallies would shout, 'USA, USA', to drown out protesters or support Trump's statements, because only their view of the USA is valid and only they are patriotic.

So again you missed the fact that she voted against a flag burning bill the next year. God forbid that elected officials change their positions to the wishes of their constituents. But regardless, it's 11 years later and the presumptive president elect wants to disregard the Constitution and take citizenship away from flag burners. And it's all an effort to distract from his conflicts of interest and his awful cabinet choices.
-
I guess you missed the 11 years ago part. In your world people aren't allowed to change their views. She also supported Goldwater. How far should we go back?
-
And 11 years ago Trump was pro-choice. What's it got to do with their views today. People who have grievances against the policies of the government burn the flag to show their opposition. It's not dumb, it's a protest. Better than shooting guns.

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump only serves one term and lets Pence / Haley run in 2020.

I'm not sure if he's crazy like a fox or just crazy. This twitter stuff distracts people from focusing on his business conflict of interests and his horrible cabinet picks.

Based on pre-recount voting and if the EC doesn't change their votes. Today's totals, Clinton 64,654,483 Trump 62,418,820, a popular vote lead of 2,235,663 for Clinton. The Electoral College is the result of a compromise made when the Constitution was being drafted by the Founding Fathers. Some of the founders, chief among them James Madison, wanted presidents to be chosen by popular vote. Others, chiefly Alexander Hamilton, had two concerns: The first involved people from Southern states who preferred the Electoral College because the number of electors per state is decided based on the number of the state’s congressional representatives. With each nonvoting slave counted as three-fifths of a person for apportionment of those representatives (and thus Electoral College votes), the South could maintain its power in the national legislature. The second concern, of Hamilton and others, was that the people would one day fall for a populist, unqualified demagogue and vote him into office. The electors, therefore, would be a check on raw democracy, a buffer between the rabble and the “learned” and independent electors who would have a clearer sense of the country’s interests. They never expected that it would actually have the opposite effect like this year. http://www.salon.com/2016/11/28/a-perversion-227-years-in-the-making-donald-trump-shows-us-the-electoral-college-is-as-corrupted-and-anti-democratic-as-he-is/

Meh, he's not as good as Girgensons, who's more versatile and can play center, wing, PK, and PP if needed. Plug Zemgus in at center on that line and they'd do better.

Exactly, count every vote, let every vote count. If not popular vote, this would be the next best option. Other than ticking off two boxes for the Trump white men's club (woman, minority), what foreign affairs experience or knowledge does Niki Haley bring to the United Nations? Even Michelle Obama has more foreign affairs experience. The Trump picks so far either have bad experience and positions or no experience at all.

Today's totals, now over 2 million more votes for Clinton over Trump. This disregard for the will of the American voters is outrageous. I see you're quoting the North Carolina governor who is losing the popular vote. "McCrory's campaign has alleged widespread voter fraud altered the results of the election, claiming that dead people, felons and people who voted in other states cast ballots in the race."

(CNN)Hillary Clinton's campaign is being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request. The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday. The scientists, among them J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, told the Clinton campaign they believe there is a questionable trend of Clinton performing worse in counties that relied on electronic voting machines compared to paper ballots and optical scanners, according to the source. The group informed John Podesta, Clinton's campaign chairman, and Marc Elias, the campaign's general counsel, that Clinton received 7% fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic voting machines, which the group said could have been hacked. http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/22/politics/hillary-clinton-challenge-results/index.html

I didn't draw a line. In Pence's case he's supported policies that are discriminatory, which is why I pointed it out. If he has bad policies in other areas he should be held to account for those. And given the voting over the past 3 decades and the changing demographics, it is highly unlikely that a Democrat would win the EC and lose the popular vote. 6 of the last 7 popular votes went the the Democrat, yet we only got a Democrat president 4 times. That's absurd. Today's totals: Clinton 63,776,375 Trump 61,013,709. The lead has increased to 1,762,666 more votes for Clinton. It just keeps increasing.
