The players didn't make a choice to replace the gm and coach. If your comment is aimed at ownership, fine, but the players aren't responsible for a change in personnel and system. I am tempering my expectations. I agree that if they are not in a playoff spot by thanksgiving they are screwed.

I have 2. An Eichel and autographed ROR. Both white both gifts. I wore the Eichel at a local pond hockey tourney and that's it. The ROR is in a case. If I were to buy one it would be a home Perreault. What I want are one of the new addidas hoodies with 15 on it. I would wear that everyday.

I attribute 3 wins+\- to coaching. Players execute and can overcome poor coaching. It is their job as professionals to do so.

For you IPA lovers, I stopped by the New Glarus Brewery in Wisconsin. The Moon Man IPA is superb. All elements in the process from the grain, hops, glass, bottle caps are made in Wisconsin. Close to Madison so another reason to come to Madison to see Casey and the Gophers go up against the Badgers. :)

If you trade him, you do so to make the team better. Duchesse for Samson is at best a push today and a negligent use of resources in two years when Duchesne is a UFA and Samson is a cost controlled RFA. Today Samson is the better producer. He will be that much more effective in 2 years.

Colorado is to be skied, fished and fleeced. Duchesne for Dlo? Sure. Duchesne and Makar for Girgs. Bring it on. Samson is more valuable to us right now and will be in the future whether as a cog or a piece that returns a top flight d.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think that should have happened last year but Jack's injury made DD panic. followed immediately by Kane's injury.

McCabe's comments were illuminating. Seems the weak side defender is supposed to take three strong strides and be ready to commit to the offense if the situation warrants. Making the reads simple and making sure everyone knows what they are might take time to iron out.
