Eye rolling? Yes, at the idea of being terrified. Woke is a general term for being aware of social issues which you could say applies to most people across the spectrum of issues. How this is manifested is what is typically referred to as woke culture. For a while this term was applied mostly to violent or extremist leftists. BLM: Following George Floyd’s murder the BLM movement was fairly peaceful. By the end it was an excuse to loot, damage and intimidate. Climate Change: AOC telling people the world will end in 12 years or the attempted use of a child (Thunberg) to coerce decision makers. Manipulation through guilt and fear to achieve a goal. The issues are real. Having concern over these issues is valid IMO. How these concerns manifest is out of whack. Jan 6 added conservative extremists to that list. A QAnon following politician with a history of saying weird stuff will not gain the support needed to dissolve the U.S. A populace that tears itself apart from the inside is more of a concern. Since you and I’m sure many others feel differently, MTG’s comment are just as decisive as what she dubs woke culture. Personally I think both sides weird.

He’s 22 years old with two years of NHL experience but poised to score 30 goals this year. He also brings a needed physical aspect. He sat out in the cold to support his team during the final moments of an outdoor game. His production, talent upside and character make him worthy of his contract IMO.

Cozens’ contract is based on the upside he’s shown since Jan 2021 and what he has done overall the last two years. He signed that contract a month and a half ago with nine goals since signing.

I think KA is at odds with how to approach this. Joker is young and Power will develop into a real good DMan. So it makes sense to keep Joker. On the other hand, Joker is the only DMan outside the top three with trade value that gets an actual player in return, possibly a second pair if you throw a prospect in. Just my opinion on that without knowing the market. If it’s me, I keep Joker and pair him with Lybushkin. This leaves acquiring a second pair guy for Power. Given the massive and likely to be even better next year firepower up front, I’d look to acquire a second pair DMan for VO plus a prospect and/or pick. Again I don’t know the market so I don’t know what the pick and/or prospect would have to be. I do think losing VO is negligible given Quinn and Peterka will likely take a step forward next year. I think Clague gets resigned for injury call ups. Of the other D I’d say Joker has the highest trade value. Maybe they move Lybushkin for a third pair guy. If we are looking to get an upgrade on the second pair it might cost us a forward and prospect. I’m hesitant because of what I think he could be. I dismissed TNT a couple years ago and was gladly proven wrong.

I’m interpreting the issue as two things. One is how people that her Tweet appeals to (ideology) would react. The second is the position she holds and how it could be used to further what she wrote into action (influence). Is this on point with the concern? And one of those extremes was able to create an autonomous zone in a U.S. city guarded by armed people. This was the culmination of months of protests nationwide that devolved into riots which included intimidation of people who had nothing to do with the issue. Im not even disagreeing with what you are saying. I disagree with trying to paint it as a one sided problem. I really disagree with calling me part of the problem just because I won’t say exactly what you want, how you want.
