Some people bring up a good point about aliens being able to or having to travel many light years to Earth. All I can say is that any issue about the time it would take is based on our understanding of physics and the nature of the universe. We humans might be missing some knowledge. After all, flat Earthers are a thing.

I waited until later in life to go to school. It wasn’t so much a deliberate decision but one I think has worked out. Along the way I received a lot of real world experience but appreciate what a formal education brings to the table. The benefit for me is I chose a degree program specific to the field I want to be in. The decision to be in that field goes back to life experience. The reason I am glad I waited is I am more certain than I was at 18. Switching programs and kind of guessing at growth and marketability is not as much of a concern. That and while I was waiting to go to school I achieved a military pension and access to the GI Bill.

What’s interesting is the post poll. Just over half think Levi is capable of 50 games but well over half think we need to go out and get a new goalie. I see this as people believe Levi could get it done but should have an experienced mentor to show him how to get it done. I agree.

Both are NATO countries. I can’t see how they would take a bridge between the two without going into either.

I don’t know if he’s too 10 yet but I’d say he’s on his way. I think he has not yet reached his ceiling. He got much better using his body to protect the puck. As that gets more refined I think it will compliment his playmaking by drawing defenders in and out of position. Great shot that I think he will maintain as he gets older.

I don’t agree with making Russian athletes pay for the actions of their government for a couple reasons. 1. The Ukraine invasion is not the fault of the athletes. 2. I do not think it will change anything.

A little late to the conversation. I know we are all thinking of where Clifford and Johnson fit in the lineup. One option is for one or both to be used in trades. If not and based on what I am reading here, Clifford could be Power’s partner. Coming off a winning team culture his mentorship may help cultivate a developing star defenseman. Johnson could slot in on the third pair. The question then becomes what happens with Joker and Busch?
