  1. That almost has to be an outlier for him...he has been in the NHL for 9 seasons prior and never scored more than 28 goals. It is hard to believe that a player is just going to almost double their goal total and for it to be sustainable over upcoming seasons, especially as he starts getting further into his 30s. Likely just had the best season of his career and will fall back towards his mean the following seasons.
  2. I've used Craigslist a lot back in the day and my wife uses Facebook Marketplace fairly regularly. I think FB Marketplace gets you higher quality buyers if you are selling something. Just make sure to go higher than what you are willing to sell it for because they will try to negotiate you down. I've had good luck in the past pricing it $50 higher than what I wanted and then "settling" for $50 less, which was what I wanted to get for it anyway. Just always make sure it's cash...no check or money order.
  3. Did not see that ass whooping by the Rags coming tonight... Still think TB wins in no more than 6
  4. Buffalo back to being center stage for the pre draft activities.
  5. And the Sabres just T-rolled them last year
  6. Avs and Oilers is gonna be such a fun series to watch if you like offensive hockey and lots of scoring. Game 1 certainly didn't disappoint with 13 goals prior to the empty netter. Kinda reminded me of the Sabres-Senators game 1 where we won in OT on Drury's goal.
  7. Love that scoring that has not really dropped much from the regular season... Think both series could be over in 5 or less with TB and Colorado facing off in the finals. At worst I think they go 6. Don't see a viable path for either the Rangers or Edmonton to make it to the Finals unless something crazy happens like Vasilevsky goes down for multiple games or Mike Smith suddenly starts stealing games for Edmonton.
  8. Yeah it is pretty crazy how that works...rookies only make $9200 a year, regular players can make up to $27K a year and one franchise player can make $34K a year. Some of the players also play in the MLL(outdoor lacrosse) and can make an additional $10-27K. However, Paul Rabil of the Philadelphia Warriors(NLL) and Boston Cannons(MLL) has leveraged some friendships and done some networking to build a pretty sizable endorsement empire with companies such as Red Bull, New Balance, Polk Audio, and others making him the first million dollar man in lacrosse. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1588296-paul-rabil-becomes-lacrosses-first-million-dollar-man Most of them have full time jobs tho. https://www.nll.com/news/many-nll-players-hold-multiple-jobs-an-inside-look/ Dhane Smith apparently is not one of them, as he has a net worth between 1.5-5 million and is one of the richest lacrosse players.
  9. It's because they play once a week like the NFL
  10. The NLL has an agreement with ESPN+ to show games https://www.nll.com/watch-the-nll/
  11. Ugh...can they trade for a third with another team and use theirs?
  12. If ever there was a time to target RFA's this is it...we have the most cap space in the NHL and will need to add money just to reach the floor. Pierre Luc-Dubois from Winnipeg would be a nice fit but I would really like to see them make a run for Jason Robertson of Dallas...young stud that would fit well with the youth movement here...79 points including 41 goals.
  13. WGR 550 on the radio and ESPN+ on TV
  14. Sweden with the choke job up 3-0 heading into the 3rd
  15. I'd love to target an RFA on a team that has no hope of matching him... Pierre Luc-Dubois from the Jets would fit in nicely...big power forward that can score. Jason Robertson from the Stars would be an amazing get...dude is trapped there in a defensive system and still putting up big numbers.
  16. It is, but performing under pressure is the same...it's not like he is going to feel more pressure and fold like a cheap tent because it's an NHL game versus AHL.
  17. R2 is a machine in the playoffs...always want to keep players that perform on the biggest stages because there are a lot of players who shrink from the moment.
  18. Wow...cannot believe the Panthers got broomed out
  19. Yup, plenty of times teams get their heads bashed in one game only to go on and win the next and win the series.
  20. End Racism. Stop Hate. Choose Love. https://shoponebuffalo.com/collections/choose-love
  21. Super close game again...this time the late tying goal for the Rock didn't hit the post, it went in a split second after the clock hit zero. Bandits hopefully will cruise to a victory in the Finals, although they lost to the Mammoth last time similarly favored. As wild as the first game...didn't think it was possible to have a better game but this might have done it. But they still allow tons of goals.
  22. Seriously? How can you possibly post a link to this goal that doesn't include one of the All Time great calls in NHL history?? https://youtu.be/FIENwvyozpM
  23. No interest in a late 30s goaltender.
