  1. There is no way this team should have been bottom of the NHL with Eichel and Reinhart. There are teams completely devoid of superstars and even good players for the most part that outperformed this team on a yearly basis. You don't understand the concept of getting the "wrong people off the bus" before getting the right ones on. When you take over a situation like this, you have to ship off the disgruntled players who are not with the program and don't want to be here to allow the other players to be free of negativity. Negativity kills success faster than anything. They've had plenty of time to be part of the solution, what has that gotten us? A bunch of last place finishes.
  2. We need to get the "core" players that have been here and gone through all the losing out of here. Regardless of how good they are. They are jaded and are not going to ever be able to get past that to be successful here. That's just how it is. In any organization, the players who have only lost year after year after year just need to be shipped out. They are lost, their mental ability to get past that is gone. They are beat down, and only think negatively about their time here and as soon as something goes bad, they think "here we go again". It kills their drive, their motivation, and we need to get rid of them before they poison the rest of the young team with their mindset. In essence, we need to move Eichel, Reinhart and Risto to save Dahlin, Cozens and the other young players that will form the backbone of this team as the "new core".
  3. Sure it is. Those fans don't even know what hockey is for the most part. I am talking more as fans
  4. Makes me sick to my stomach these BS markets down south winning the cup as we suffer and haven't won anything in 40 years. They don't deserve it. Yeah...maybe it's sour grapes but it is also the truth.
  5. I mean he did also want the Bills to take Mahomes, so there is that...
  6. It's his life...it's now or never...he's not going to live for-eeeeeeeever.
  7. Are you crazy? I would want more than that for just Eichel
  8. That is pretty crazy...wonder if that is something that could bother Eichel long term or be reoccurring?
  9. I've worked out for many years and lifted far heavier weights than Eichel has I am pretty sure. My trainer used to train some NFL players and I was in such good shape that he gave me their workouts to do which were insane x 10. I never had a herniated disc, so whatever he was doing must have been with weights that were too heavy or form that was terrible or both.
  10. Jack Eichel releasing 15 NFT's https://finance.yahoo.com/news/jack-eichel-buffalo-sabres-nhl-131800259.html
  11. How does anyone even have a conversation about this? Eichel is an elite NHL talent. Drury for all the great things he was, never even in the same area code from that standpoint as Eichel.
  12. Put up horrible numbers in Rochester, he isn't ready in any way shape or form yet.
  13. I don't know who these guys are but they are making Pittsburgh look pretty silly today.
  14. THIS Sabres' team is fun and entertaining to watch...a shame they had to suffer through RK's idiotic system to get to this point but I wouldn't be against Granato becoming the full time coach. These guys clearly play for him.
  15. Well all those years of only 6 teams probably makes that stat seem more impressive than it really is but it still is impressive nonetheless.
  16. What's new. Dude is out for weeks at a time several times a year. How can he be counted as a number one goalie? As they say in the NFL, the best ability is availability.
  17. The amount of injuries this team has suffered is just staggering. I would guess they lead the NHL by a wide margin in man games lost to injury.
  18. Darcy was able to fleece teams on trades in almost unbelievable ways
  19. Hopefully they also prioritize a good backup because Ullmark will be out 25 games with injuries. Dude is always getting hurt.
  20. Why are they even bothering making trades for such garbage returns? I'd just not make the trades to keep other teams from getting better.
  21. Abysmal trades so far by Adams.
  22. How is this team suddenly scoring Bunches of goals?? Imagine how much better they could be right now with Eichel...
  23. Yes...the mortality rate is high in NYS due to circumstance. It was the first place to get a major outbreak in the US thanks to the wrong people flying into their airports and not LA or Chicago or Atlanta. NOT through any real fault of their own. In fact, a large part of the reason other places have lower mortality is due to the work done in NYS hospitals with no information on what to do, no set procedures or protocols, no drugs to treat it, no real understanding of what it actually was and a lack of ventilators. All of that stuff had to be learned on the fly, taught to all the hospitals and staff and then implemented as part of updated protocols and procedures...all while in the midst of unprecedented numbers of patients flooding in and staff dealing with exhaustion. So to be quite honest, the statistics you bandy about are meaningless to use in the way you are trying to use them because they lack any context. This is a perfect scenario for showing how you can show anything you want with statistics when you have no understanding or context of the situation. Of course those other places will have lower mortality rates...they got to use all of the knowledge NYS created from nothing that they had no ability to use for much of it.
  24. The initial COVID situation was not done well, but truthfully they were working with no real data as to what to do. Once they figured it out, we kind of became a model for how to control COVID spread for many months through late spring into the summer and fall...there was no excuse at all for those other states to have the outbreaks they did. They got to see everything NYS did that worked on a large scale and they largely chose to ignore it.
