  1. Krebs is not playing in the AHL after having played here all year since he got here. Peterka and Quinn both should be here also, they have nothing left to prove at that level. Dominating inferior competition is fine for a year but after that what are they learning? Not a lot. It's time. LFG.
  2. Eichel's reputation as a coach killer precedes him. Vegas is in trouble with all those bloated contracts to players who aren't performing
  3. I've only stayed in Air BNB places for a few days at a time so never payed much attention to the fees to be honest... VRBO was super expensive...rented a house in Ocean City Maryland for like 5 days and it was almost $1400. Never again.
  4. I can't bring myself to even tho I know it's grammatically correct... I have already started growing the nose hairs and ear hairs of an old person, cannot bring myself to start talking like one now ๐Ÿ˜‚
  5. I watched the game last night on TV...it was amazing! Prefer to go in person but wasn't able to...was out for the first half so listened to most of it on the radio, got home and watched the rest on TV.
  6. R2 and Paterka have turned into monsters... Paterka with 48 points in last 47 games, and now 6 points in 4 playoff games including 4 goals and a hattrick last game
  7. Hahahahahahaha...Leafs lose AGAIN in game 7
  8. Toronto about to choke in another game 7
  9. When speaking about multiple Games? I think Game 7s sounds better regardless if it is grammatically correct or not.
  10. Is he going to gather up all the coaches and scouts in a room and be like "There are winners and losers. Lah-hoo-sers" Because it's turned into a game of homeruns or strikeouts and not much in between. Teams value big HR numbers at the cost of batting average.
  11. What if I wanted to kiss a kev instead of kissing a kov?? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  12. Andreychuk was by far the best of that group
  13. UPL has much better NHL numbers than AHL numbers.
  14. I like Pierre Luc Dubois from the Jets...big, physical 6'3" 220 lb winger who can play center as well, that can score 25-30 goals and add 60-65 points to the lineup... He is only 23, scored 28 goals and had 60 points this year for the Jets. Would fit in well with the young core group we have here. Or if we are going more top end, Jason Robertson with the Dallas Stars is a breakout star this year scoring 41 goals and 79 points with a defensive minded Dallas team that tries to win games 1-0. Still only 22, Sabres could get a young budding superstar but it would likely cost them a lot...maybe even the 4 firsts, which might be too expensive a price to pay.
  15. If the Sabres don't they are wasting a golden opportunity that rarely comes along for a team to get a young, proven player that could accelerate their rebuild massively. Not expecting they will but it will be disappointing if they don't
  16. We celebrate like it's New Years Eve 1999?
  17. I want nothing to do with old goalies ready to retire
  18. Neutral... It introduced some bad elements but it also greatly increases interest and viewing of the games when people have something on the line.
  19. Can't fire all the players so it's gotta be the coach... They played that annoying defend at all costs style for the first few seasons pretty well and once they had a 1-0 lead it was pretty much over... Didn't work so well this year...
  20. Actually in this case yes I do in regards to what they are building. Depends on the players makeup. Many athletes like challenges, and this is a great spot to come in and make a big difference to the success of the franchise. There is excitement in the air about what's going on and I am pretty sure it's not just among the players in the room...other players around the league are starting to take notice. It was clear the catalyst for this was the return of players from injury and the additions of Tuch and Krebs. There is no reason to think with a few more pieces added to the mix, better goaltending, more growth for the young players and some more time in Granato's system that they won't continue to get better. They played at a 102 point pace since March 1st. I honestly think that over the course of an entire year that probably is a little too high right now but I think they are capable of 90-94 points next year. Probably will just miss the playoffs but will be in it til the end of the season. So why wouldn't a player want to come to a team that is potentially getting ready to go on a run with a bunch of young talented guys?
  21. Why wouldn't they? This is a young, up and coming team. Adams said they won't do anything that will create a roadblock for the younger goalies they expect to have in the system like UPL, Levi and Portillo...perhaps they are afraid they are merely a place holder until one of hem gets here?
  22. LFG!! I was not wanting to see this season end prior to reading this but now I REALLY don't want to see this season end after... Can we just fast forward to October???
  23. I believe they just broke the record...in Calgary/Dallas intermission it was said shots for the game were 83 to 69 which would combine for 152. Still showing 83 to 68 on NHL.com which would have tied the record if this is accurate.
  24. This Rangers Penguins game is crazy...huge number of shots for both teams...wondering what the record is for most shots on goal in a game because they need to be getting close... EDIT: record is from a few years ago when playoffs were in August. TB vs Columbus, 151 shots total(88 for TB, 63 for Columbus) Currently at 138 for this game(73 Pittsburgh, 65 Rangers), 14 shots from breaking the record.
