If I close my eyes I can picture Fripp, Wetton and Bruford performing an obscure B-side from the Lark's or Starless or Red albums. You guys remind me of Crimson very much.

Won both games in their last at bat. Game 2 was not the 11 - 2 laugher that it appears to be.

As of right this very minute the Jays are in the second WC position. And I’m not talking about this WC 🚽 They took 2 from Baltimore. Both the Yankees and Red Sox won. The Yankees actually have a game in hand now and the Jays have 2 on the dastardly Sox.

I was a Controller for a division of a pretty big (for Halifax) company. My wife and I had moved from Toronto not quite 3 years earlier. The company took a chance on a 'Upper Canadian' who was 'not from here'. It was a good job with a good company and I owe them a lot. After 9/11 the company lost many contracts and I was re-organized to Corporate HQ and then out the door. Anyway, I was in my office finalizing the quarterly forcast for a meeting later that day when the Assistant Controller bust in and said something was going on in New York. I could see a tear running down her face. We (everybody) went into the board room and watched CNN. It was a terrible day, indeed. Needless to say the meeting was cancelled. Many flights were diverted to Halifax. 40 planes and 8,000 passengers were welcomed with open arms and honest to goodness Nova Scotian caring. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/september-11-attacks-and-halifax-s-response-remembered-1.3223825 A truly tragic day. Things did change a lot not only in the US, but everywhere. What has happened in the years that followed has not been good at all. They got the brooms out in the Bronx yesterday. Best result possible for the Jays, except the Sox beat the Rays on Sunday. 1/2 game out to the Yankees with a game in hand. 1.5 games back of the Sox, with 3 in hand. The Jays are in control of their own destiny.

Thanks. I found them doing Brown Eyed Women and the first 2 minutes while some were tuning the others just jammed. Just like the Dead did. They are okay, but I have to agree that there is no improv there. The Dead live was all about improvision. They know the music, but may be best in the studio if they ever find themselves there. I think you know what I mean.

I moved to the 'country', which is about 45 minutes to down town Halifax. There seems to be no rules atoll. None. Zip. Nadda. Zilch. Just about every night we here the Bocat(s), Coyote(s) or Weasel(s) in the hen house. Roos do there thing day and night. Never seem to at dawn, though.
