I'm not going to predict a bunch of things, sorry GA. All I will say is this group of Sabres will surprise a lot of people, including many of the fans. They will play hard and will give a good effort every night. They won't win enough to make the playoffs, but they will win a lot.

The sooner this bozo is traded the better. I was in favour of trying to reconcile, but now I want John traded as soon as possible and not because he is from Boston and dreams of being a dastardly Bruin and goes and watches the dastardly Red Sox with a bunch of dastardly Bruin. The dastardlies hang together. No, I want John gone as soon as possible so that we all can kiss and makeup. We all know that makeup sex is the best sex there is. This crap has put brother against brother and I hate it.

I have checked the roster and I think that the 'C' on Rasmus (either, but especially the 'D' guy) would add too much pressure. Dylan and Mitts are not quite ready and also very young. I think it will have to be a veteran. My $ (but only play $, of course) is on Skinner (less likely to be another forward) or Pysyk, maybe Miller. I think it will be one of the two 'D' men.

As much as I hate to agree with you (😉 ... okay, last time for this tired joke that you started) I do agree with you that there will be a 'C' named. If they were not going to have a 'C' they would have named 2 more 'A's today. I am not sure about your choices for 'C'. I will get back to you on that, since I thought the 'C' would go to KO.

That's a good deal for both parties. Will be a bargain for the Habs in 2, or 3, years.

Some of us have limited time to read through mega threads and many very interesting tidbits get lost in the noise. When I log in and click on some thread and it takes me to the first unread post (that's how I have it set up) and I see 5, or more, pages of unread posts I immeditely leave the thread and don't read it. As much as I hate to agree with him (😉) I'm with @PASabreFan on this one. I prefer smaller more specific threads than the massive 100+ page jobies. Except for the Bills thread, as that can be easily divided up into sections ... draft, free agency, game day and interesting stuff along the way.
