Sabres Fan in NS

In the Bills thread I said that they would win big. In the Detroit GDT I said that this guy’s visa issue was a dodge, so he would never have to play in Buffalo. Since I am never right on anything and I am right on these two things I asked if someone could let my wife know. There’s your summary of where this came from.

My take on Collinsworth is ... Who cares?? Really, we fans should not give a rats ass what any of these clowns say. Bottom line ... a huge victory over a foe that was the Bills nemesis (SP?? ... I don't care about goodly speeling here) last season.

I agree completely and so does KA. He obviously feels that the vets here are good enough to mentor the youth. I think he is right that Girgs, KO and Skinner, maybe Miller on D are good enough vets for that purpose. I agree with KA on this.

With respect, I have made the arguement that the goalie moves mirror what KA has said all along and match his moves on other position players. That he would not sign anyone that would possibly impead the growth and developement of the youth.

I can't see any way that Dylan plays at all in Rochester this season, unless it is for a few games of injury rehab. The Sabres are so thin everywhere, including centre, that it just won't happen, even if it would be the best thing for him. Dylan Cozens will be fine.

I sometime wondered, but certainly not often, if the Wings were not already taken would the Sabres have been the Wings? Probably not. I think Sabres is the best name there is. It's like the good ol' hockey game is the best game you can name.

I'm feeling the exact opposite. The last 3 games were a tune up for this one. Pittsburgh in the opener was not completely unexpected. Everyone has been gearing up for this rematch and they will be ready. Huge draw for Canada last evening in Azteca. This was the most important match thus far for Canada and a draw in Mexico City is huge.

BOOM!! That's a lot of $, but you could argue that is the going rate and will be a cheap contract in a few years. As player salaries go I'd say he is worth it. He has quietly (not in the big time spotlight) become a top 10 player in the NHL, maybe top 5 soon when the likes of Crosby and Malkin start to nose dive.
