I should have watched it before reading this thread. I just watched it and it's nowhere near as bad as reading this thread would indicate. Of course, many would look at it the other way and that is fine. That drafting Krebs thing is head scratching for sure, but whatever. I like that he got emotional in talking about KO. He may not have the heartlessness to ultimately do well as an NHL GM and I would actually be fine with that so long as they bring in a stone cold hard ass to be GM and KA can be a ceremonial head of something or other at some point when the Sabres are on another cusp (hey there @PASabreFan). Dahlin will be captain next season if not sooner. I think things will be fine.

Probably not. I think 6K will get every game until Sabres are officially eliminated from the playoff. In that case by the 19th you may get Levi.

I don't know for sure, but I assume from his *it's up to Terry* comments back when Darcy and I have to say Ruff would have been dead set against the tank. All the others listed had more influence and I suspect all of them were fully on the tank train.

Mr. Pegula's one glaring error was to listen to the idiot(s) that advised him to authorize the damn tank. The better approach would have been to do a rebuild. That one fatal error has lead directly to where the team is now. I know most say by now the tank does not matter. I disagree with that. With no tank there would be no GMTM no JBOT no Eich (very possibly Marner instead) ...

Not a chance. This is right. The Sabres have a reasonable D corp now. This guy and Clifton are making up a decent #3 and #4. That said, if a more solid #3 or #4 becomes available for a reasonable price then I would like that player added.

Dylan is a reasonably solid #2 centre. Sorry for the confusion on the salary - I was unclear in my post that Nill responded to.

This guy is paid top 3 D $. He must have something to give. He has one year left at $7.5M (or so). What will he command on his next contract? He was a highly rated D at the 2019 draft and went #4. A cup winner who seems to be having an off year. Until a year or so ago most here wanted to dump Casey for a bag of pucks and were willing to toss is a draft pick to clinch the deal. He is playing very well in a contract year - stop me if you've heard this one before. I like Casey, but you have to give to get. With the recent signings something had to give. I support this trade. A hockey trade of all things. Unless something else happens (maybe in the summer at this point) I think Dahlin will be almost permanently moved to the right side.
